Very overrated & not recommended. We only tried the coffee, but that was enough for us to cancel our breakfast order. My Americano tasted watery & looked like even worse than gas station coffee , & the extra-hot cappuccino we specifically requested came out cold with a bad taste. For a brunch/café with nearly 2,000 reviews, this was extremely disappointing. If a café can't get basic coffee right, we didn't want to risk our last breakfast in Montreal here.

We went to this location last week twice for breakfast. We went one morning & the server, the service & the food was amazing! We were from out of town & the server was really nice to us. The food was great too! However!…..we went back 3 days later, & just so happened to get the same server as the first time. (Girl with glasses & piercings-can't remember her name). We saw this & were like oh great! We had such a great experience last time this will be just as good if not better! Boy were we wrong! So when we sat down we said hello & my wife just said we are in a bit of a hurry this morning as we have a flight to catch, so we know what we are going to order can we please order it now? Well I guess that pissed off the server as there was an immediate change in the body language & attitude from our server. So we ordered the exact same order the we did 3 days prior, the only difference if our daughter instead of wanting pancakes wanted waffles this time. So we place the order & then have to wait & wait & wait for the drinks to come. & then we have to wait even more for our food. & by this point tables that were sat after us were starting to get their food orders first. Then when the food finally came out the portions were a lot smaller than they were just day days prior. Also, the piece of toast I had on my plate was burnt to a crisp! It was black! Then they placed eggs on top so it became a mushy mess. My wife's eggs Benedict were also burnt. The vacant had to give up trying to chew it as it was tougher than rubber! All the sides were cold. The coffee was cold as well as the bottom of the cups were loaded with coffee grinds.
The first time we were there the server as constantly checking in on us making sure everything was ok, she would refill the'bottomless' coffee all the time. She brought a plate with pieces of toast with jam & peanut butter. This time we didn't get any of that. She never checked on us. There was no toast, & we didn't get a refill of this'bottomless' coffee until we paid the bill as asked for more coffee!
I would have given this a 5 star review had this second experience hadn't been this way.
The only reason we could come up with why this time was so bad, is because we had just said that we had a plane to catch. We weren't rude, we were polite about it but they just seemed to want to make our experience a bad one.

My boyfriend took me there. I am not an egg eater but their variety of menu makes it all. Excellent choice & their coffee is excellent.

My first breakfast at Montreal & it didn't disappoint! The eggspectation omelette is super huge (I think I can skip lunch), yummy & full of ingredients! The salad was refreshing too. I'm happy that they accomodated my request for a flat white - thank you 🫶
I cannot imagine starting my day without coffee! ☕?

My husband & I just had the best breakfast of our lives. We both ordered the pain dore flambe, with house coffee, & everything was beyond our expectations. The food was immaculately prepared & presented, the coffee tasted robust & fresh, & our lovely waiter kept the refills coming. I honestly was beyond impressed with this place & am very thankful the experience. My only regret is that I did not get our server's name to include it here. He was incredibly attentive, & a very lovely man. Merci beaucoup pour les service (& la nourriture) exceptionnel!

We visited this place with our small dog & they very kindly allowed her on the outdoor seating section. The food was excellent. We had the Veggie Omelette, Eggsuberant & the Chocolate Banana Crepe along with the Filtered Coffee which was refilled regularly! Would definitely recommend.

I got very shy & didn't say anything but the food was very dry & old. The bacon made me nauseous. I mostly just had the two poached eggs on toast & had to leave most of the meal. My server was extremely kind & did an amazing job on the service side of things. Food was awful, $35 should have been much better. Coffee watered down & mainly tasted like milk.

The food was delicious & the coffee was very good as well! My server Mark was attentive & my coffee never got empty. I will definitely be back!

Food was great, & the service was impeccable, coffee was also very good. Its definitely not a budget option for breakfast but still I will be back.
