Wonderful place for breakfast! It was about a 10 minute walk from our hotel downtown. Our server was so pleasant, kind & very welcoming. I got an egg platter with pancakes, potatoes & sausage. It was totally delicious!!! Definitely recommend as a spot to come & eat at
Service was great. Food was bad. Potatoes had a fish after taste. The sausages are half the size of a normal sausage. Had the American breakfast. Do not recommend.
Nice breakfast restaurant, that offers a lot of different options for a reasonable price! Last time I had the fried chicken & waffle & a big bowl of Café au lait. All quite good & nothing to complain here!

Best place for breakfast in Montreal! So yummy & our server was amazing. We were so impressed about how good our food was that we had to come back a second time during our five day trip.
Such a good breakfast & brunch spot. The setup is a bit more elegant, posh than I expected but the food is really good. I almost want to say it's like a home cooked meal but it does have a touch of like premium or gourmet to the dishes. I got the Eggstravaganza out whatever. Basically it was 2 pancakes, potatoe slices & eggs (I subbed the pork for an extra egg). Came to CAD 30 which was ridiculously overpriced but it was a really good meal. Best for a nice date or business meeting. Or friends brunch or a nice treat yoself type of deal.
We were meaning to get a light breakfast & my wife & I were a bit shocked by what we got. The food was amazing though & our server was top notch. Even let us know about a few places we needed to check out while we were in Montreal. I don't think there is anything on the menu that would be disappointing, judging by the look of everything as it went by. The breakfast poutine hit the spot & the French toast was perfect. Come hungry, leave happy.
First timer: very nice experience & the waiter was friendly as well. It was 3 of us & 2 ordered the strawberry French toast & 1 ordered a fruit bowl & a smoothie. Also ordered a side of breakfast potatoes The French toast was amazing, very filling, strawberries were great. I definitely recommend this breakfast dish. 10/10 Breakfast potatoes: were 10/10 definitely seasoned nicely & paired well with the ketchup. I would recommend this place. Enjoy 😊

Visiting Montreal, my friend & I breakfasted at Eggspectation. We sat outside, where a nice breeze added to the comfort of the setting. My friend ordered a Bene-Ducked & I ordered a Veggie Omelet work a toasted buttered Bagel on the side. The duck in the Bene-Ducked was well- prepared & flavorful. The Veggie Omelet was tasty as well. Originally hailing from NY, I was looking forward to a Montreal Bagel & I was not disappointed. The sesame bagel was nicely toasted & quite delicious. My friend really liked his Iced Cappuccino & I had a nice Oat Milk. Service was excellent, as our server was responsive without being intrusive. Eggspectation is a nice place to grab breakfast, especially if you like Eggs Benedict dishes. I heartily recommend it.
I was in Montreal fof the jazz festival & me & my family had breakfast every morning at this place for 5 straight days!! Nikita Mark & Amanda were awesome servers!!!Food is delicious !!!
I love this restaurant. I visit from NY/PA around 5-6 times a year. I make sure I eat brunch every single day I am in Montreal. The food is amazing. The restaurant is spotless. The service is perfect. I especially adore Nikitas. He actually knows my order whenever I am there. He will see me & immediately get my beverages (diet soda & a glass of wine). We then chat a bit while my order is being prepared. He knows all his customers & truly enjoys his job. It is so refreshing. He makes you feel like family. The entire staff makes sure each guest is cared for & happy. I have been visiting Montreal for over 20 years & have been to many restaurants in the area. I can honestly say that this place is THE BEST for breakfast, brunch, & lunch/early dinner. The menu never disappoints. The staff is incredible. The entire experience is wonderful. I have never been let down by this restaurant. I absolutely recommend it to tourist & locals. It is a gem.
