gnocchi(304) sauce(149) cheese(71) price(56) prix(40) cheap(38) tomato(36) quick(32) spicy(31) tomato sauce(30) box(27) tasty(26)Don't let the long line deter you! The line actually moves very quickly. The portions are great for the price. One order is enough to share if you want to try other foods around the neighborhood. My husband & I came here several years ago & we knew we had to come back when visiting Montreal again. Definitely a nicer experience when the weather is good. Overall a great value & nice quick warm treat.
It is a mile end classic. The famous gnocchi shack to try in Montréal. Don't expect an brilliant gnocchi but it is good. Go for spicy add cheese. Sometimes the line is long but it is worth it as the street is lovely & makes the whole mile end experience worth it.
Why the hype? People by the droves picking up a quick box of gnocchi with tomato sauce… cheap ($5) but quite disappointing, mainly because of the sauce. The gnocchi itself is good, not too large & plentiful, but it's destroyed by the sauce which is most definitely from a can; an industrial-sized one. Had I known, I would have asked them to hold the sauce & just do Parmesan & chili flakes. Oh well. The price is right.
If your looking for great gnocchi this is the spot, they only do gnocchi & are good at it. Recommendation for adding spice & cheese but the regular is very good.
A most visited spot in Montreal, the food is pasta in the end nothing crazy but the vibe is good especially when u see all people waiting in a long line to get their boxes & eat it somewhere on the sidewalk
Tastes amazing & fresh at a low cost. The service is always quick even with a line. Best Gnocchi in Mtl!
Efficient service, super affordable ($5) & tasty gnocchi. I would definitely go back for a quick local bit to go. The gnocchi were very soft & fresh & the sauce was pretty good, I had the cheese gnocchi.
The hardest store name to remember but also the easiest to find because when you search up'delicious 5$ gnocchi' Drogheria Fine is the first place that pops up. All year long no matter the weather, when I'm in a rush for a quick meal this place is my first thought. The gnocchis are chewy, plump & everything you can wish for in a comfort meal. The portions are seriously generous + the tomato sauce is always so rich & with little extra cheese it becomes perfection. If you want to feel like you're on cloud nine from the flavours come here. I love this place (& it's vegetarian).
Stopped in yesterday & despite a long line, it moved rather quickly.
Menu is definitely very limited (gnocchi with cheese with option to add spicy or gnocchi with extra cheese & spicy).
The gnocchi was pillowy & filled to the brim of the takeout container for $6. Sauce tasted good but would've paid more for them to use real parm cheese than the typical store bought parm.
Chopsticks come with the gnocchi but charged extra for forks which is a bit annoying as chopsticks were not ideal for it.
For a quick, cheap snack we would definitely go back.
The food was good but not sure why they were handing out chopsticks instead of forks.
The price is great, that's about the only positive thing about the gnocchi. They're a bit too chewy, like they were overcooked. The sauce is basically chef Boyardee's, its oily, acidic & tastes like basic tomato sauce. The parmesan is not fresh so it smells. Also dislike the chopstick gimmick.
