Review Summary

Drogheria Fine is widely celebrated as a quintessential Montreal staple, offering a unique and authentic street food experience centered on fresh, pillowy gnocchi served with a signature tomato sauce. While opinions on the sauce's flavor profile vary, with some diners finding it incredibly comforting and others noting it as overly acidic or simple, the overall consensus highlights the exceptional value and generous portion sizes for the price. The minimalist, quick-service takeout window frequently draws lines, yet the efficient staff and fast turnover make it a convenient stop for locals and tourists alike. Visitors should be prepared for a cash or Canadian debit-only policy and limited seating options, though the cozy neighborhood vibe and proximity to other local gems make it a highly recommended experience for those seeking a hearty, affordable, and warm bite.

Purchased, threw out within minutes. Was here a few years back & it was amazing. Returned to gummy tapioca textured balls in a grease layered burnt tomato sauce. Couldn't stomach more than 3 bites. Waste of money & time.

Good gnocchi with a very generous portion. I tried it with extra cheese & spicy sauce-the quality was good, but the spicy version wasn't really for me.

Still, if you're a gnocchi lover & want a filling meal, this is a solid option.

For $5, it's a quick, filling snack in an area close to lots of other options if you're looking to try a few things (Kem Coba, Fairmount Bagel & Dieu du Ciel) or looking for a filling snack.

Taste-wise it fell flat as the gnocchi was under seasoned & the sauce tasted a bit burnt.

Came here at opening & they were late to open. I got the gnocchi with cheese & the sauce is bland & salty. Disappointed that the cheese is only on the top & tasted like Kraft Parm. However the portion is quite big & good value.

'cheese' is a kraft parmesan cheese to go on top of theses gummy balls called' gnocchis' in what they say is a tomatoe sauce nonna's style ! I had to throw them away after 2 bites & God knows how I love food & Italian food especially. But aside a cute little corner shop that seems so appealing for real Italian snacks. What they sold is simply in disgusting. A perfect tourist trap.

Pillowy soft gnocchi. But I found the sauce a bit bland & generic, & even though I ordered with extra cheese & extra spice, the flavours were completely washed out by the sauce.

I think it's more tourist appeal & local nostalgia more than anything.

Great gnocchi, but sauce was giving Chef Boyardee. The added cheese helped though & for the price it's worth it

Sincèrement, n'oubliez pas votre pepto bismol si vous y allez. Sauce tomato vraiment acide un déshoneur à la cuisine Italienne. 👎
