We ordered the gnocchi with cheese, & it was absolutely amazing-perfect as a snack to share between the two of us. The service was quick, friendly, & attentive. Just a heads-up: an extra fork costs $0.25. 😀 Highly recommended!
The gnocchi were soft & comforting, but taste-wise nothing really stood out to me. The sauce was okay, simple & homemade style, but not something I'd personally crave again. It's one of those'nice to try once' Montreal spots more for the experience & local hype than for amazing flavor.
I do understand why people like it though - it's cheap ( 5 dollars ) quick, filling, & feels very local & authentic. The vibe around the place is probably stronger than the actual food itself because it is between kem cona & fairmount bagel! 🥯
Very quick & easy takeout spot. I love that the prices have not changed in years. Gnocchi are good for the price.
A delicious gnocchi if you're looking for a traditional taste & quick street food option
Absolutely loved Drogheria Fine! The place has a simple, authentic charm & serves some of the best gnocchi in Montreal. The tomato sauce is rich, comforting, & full of flavor, & the portions are generous for the price. Service is quick & friendly, making it a perfect spot for a casual yet satisfying meal. A must-visit if you're in Montreal: simple food done exceptionally well!
We were brought here as part of a food tour on the Montreal Mile End. The gnocchi + tomato sauce was really delicious & for the price nothing can be beat!
We wouldn't have heard about this place had it not been for our tour guide Eric so we were glad to have it as a stop on the tour. There was a large lineup outside (there is no seating inside) but it seemed to be moving quickly.
They don't accept credit - cash or Interac only!
If you're just looking for a meal to fill you up for $5, then this is a great option. However, I was underwhelmed by the taste, & the sauce felt a bit off for my personal tastes. It was a bit too sour. But service was quick & efficient.
Quick & easy street food. I wasn't a fan of the dense, chewy texture of the gnocchi but the sauce + chili flakes were great!
Quick, delicious & affordable! A lovely hidden gem. Can't wait to go back
