A humble family-run restaurant with all the Uyghur cuisine staples. Please note that you may miss the restaurant from the outside as there is no sign installed currently. Look for Local W in the strip mall.View more
I recently discovered Atlas in in Montreal, & I was truly impressed! This is a family-run restaurant that delivers an authentic dining experience with incredible attention to detail.
The food is absolutely delicious-freshly prepared with care & passion, & the quality is on par with any exceptional restaurant I've visited. Every dish is bursting with flavor & clearly made with high-quality ingredients.
What makes Atlas stand out is the warm, welcoming atmosphere & the sense of authenticity in every bite. While I'm used to frequenting upscale & fancy restaurants, Atlas offers something even better: gourmet-level cuisine in a cozy, family-run setting.
If you're looking for a place that combines authentic flavors, exceptional quality, & genuine hospitality, I highly recommend Atlas. It's a hidden gem that truly deserves to be discovered!View more
Excellent service, great food, fair prices. The family really enjoyed visiting the restaurant & meeting the owners. This was our first time trying Uyghur food & we came away impressed.View more

Amazing Uyghur food in this family restaurant.
First, service by Mohammed was wonderful. He was kind, patient, attentive even while having many other tables, & explained the menu to us. Second, food that was heartfelt & tasty. Atlas Laghman noodles are homemade & so chewy! Lamb skewers perfectly spiced & grilled. The lamb soup was rich & hearty. We never had saffron tea before. It was a light tea that made you feel like you were glowing a golden hue after drinking it. Third interior decor & music was welcoming. Come check out this restaurant for a great experience!View more
What a wonderful experience. From begining until end Every single dish we ate was an experience. I highly recommend the lamb shank with cumin & salt! Wishing you & your entire family continues success.View more
Second time trying Uyghur food so I figured I'd give Atlas in Brossard a go. Grabbed the dry stir-fried noodles, samsa, & tripe salad for takeout. Very nice people, looks like a local family business.
The noodles were decent - not bad, just a bit too oily for me. Flavour was there, but light on meat. Kinda felt like it had potential but didn't fully land.
Samsa was the best part. Flaky, crisp, & packed - no notes. Would def get that again.
The tripe salad didn't taste the cleanest. Not awful but not exactly something I'd crave again. Just felt kinda meh.
Wouldn't write the place off - maybe I just picked the wrong dishes. I'd go back & try something else for sure.View more
If you're looking for something truly special, look no further than Atlas Uyghur Restaurant. This place delivers a culinary experience that is generous, soulful, & packed with flavour. I've been four times in just one month & I already know I'll be back again very soon.
The food is simply delicious. Every single dish is seasoned with care & clearly made by someone who knows exactly what they're doing. It's authentic, it's hearty, & it feels like it's coming straight from someone's home kitchen. There's nothing pretentious about it, just bold, comforting, & satisfying food.
The dumplings are incredibly generous. The lamb with rice pilaf is tender & rich in flavour. & the handmade noodles in the spicy sauce, I think it was with lamb, are honestly to die for. Everything is spiced to perfection & full of balance. I would recommend every single item on the menu without hesitation.
The atmosphere is charming. The space is cute & has this blend of Chinese & Arabic design that feels warm & unique. It's a family-run place & you can feel that in the service, in the way the dishes are plated, & in the overall energy. There's so much heart behind it.
It can be a little tricky to find if you're not familiar with the area, but it's worth the trip every time. There's plenty of parking & once you arrive, you'll be glad you came. The prices are also incredibly reasonable given the portions & quality.
Honestly, I have nothing negative to say. Atlas Uyghur is the kind of place that deserves to be known & celebrated. It's the kind of restaurant that reminds you why you love food.View more
The food here is delicious. If you want a delightful culinary experience, look no further than this family-run joint. The dishes we had were spiced to perfection & full of heart; I highly recommend the pearl laghman, manta, samsa, unche laghman, & if you're looking for something a little milder yet hearty, get the pilov. We will definitely return to try more dishes soon!View more
Fantastic service & food is one of the tastiest cuisines I have had in a while here in the city.
I come here for my lamb cravings! The lamb soup, their lamb shank & their lamb skewers are all fantastic. All so delicious, even their other meats non lamb dishes are tasty, love their sizzling shrimp so flavorful as well as the chicken plate with noodle. That pilaf rice with it all hits the spot
Reasonable price point too.
Definitely a family favorite
The decor is beautiful tooView more
First time trying Uyghur cuisine & it was delicious! I strongly recommend the naan, the Qorma chicken, the dumplings & the lamb shank. It's a family owned restaurant & the service was amazing. The ambience was great too! Will definitely revisit it.View more
The decoration & the music transports you to the rich culture of the Uyghur people. The restaurant has a very familiar feel, which is nice to see & admirable of how everyone is involved. The service was nice & polite & the food is amazing (all halal) !!! Every dish we ate was very rich in flavours. It became our family's favorite restaurant in the South Shore. Thank you for the amazing food & experience!!! ❤?View more

As many others here, this was my first experience eating Uygur food, but definitely not my last! In a few points: - Very clean & well maintained restaurant, with beautiful decorations seemingly inspired by their culture; - Very friendly & family-oriented service, even with the staff's limited knowledge of French or English we still felt how they cared about giving good service; - The food was, how can I say this.... Absolutely superb. A unique blend of spices & flavours I have never seen anywhere else, you'll be tempted to ask for second servings. Food was served very hot as well. The quality of the ingredients as well as the care put in our plate's preparation could be clearly seen. - Lots of parking spaces & very good prices considering the quality & uniqueness of the plates served. - Only two small cons: service can be a little long (but it's worth it!) & non alcoholic beverages are served or available (if that is important to you). VERDICT: strongly recommended, a hidden gem among restaurants in greater Montreal & a unique culinary culture that's begging to be discovered & encouraged.View more
Didn't really meet the expectations I had from impression of the reviews. Food tasted alright, they messed up our order & bill here & there; however it's very honest food made with quality ingredients. The staff also seemed to be children in the family which was sweet but also expect a spottier service.View more
