Le porc BBQ & les nouilles shanghai étaient à se jeter par terre. Service super amical. J'ai hâte d'y retourner!View more
One of my favourite restaurants in Montreal. The roasted meats are all very good & the hk milk tea is delicious as well.View more
Changed owner or changed manage team, the food now are not as authenic, tasteless food, nack of service.View more
Great food at great prices. Serves beer by the pint which is nice. Friendly staff. Went on a busy Saturday night during lunar year year, things were hectic, staff was friendly & apologetic. Nice to see a legacy restaurant so crowded.View more
Honestly, not very good. Everything is very very salty, oily, & sweet (more so than other Chinese food) Our chowmein was clearly sitting in an oven to keep hot because the edges were burned & black. The soy chicken & BBQ pork were quite good, but the duck was overly salty. The service was slow but nice. After being seated, the food came really quickly.View more

If you've never been to Dobe & Andy don't walk RUN! It is probably the best Chinese food we've had, every dish is delicious. We discovered them last year & we probably have it twice a month. Best wonton soup I've had & don't snooze on their Chinese new year special!View more
Been a regular here for years for good reason. Probably the best HK style Chinese outside of HongKong, easily a contender for the best in Canada much less North America. Amazing portions for the price & all the meats are done perfectly. Every dish is beyond delicious, highly recommend checking out everything on the menu. Don't sleep on the specials either. Unfussy & straightforward old-school ambience with great staff. See you soon Dobe & Andy's!!View more
Very nice & simple restaurant, serving traditionnal & modern hong kong style food. Fast & amazing service too! Highlights : - Char Siu Pork - Crispy roast pork belly - Well Seasoned fried chicken! They kept to same retro style as the old restaurant (it was a chinese noodle before) & it brings out some childhood memories ♥️View more

We went there on a Friday night, around 7h00 pm. I was expecting a big crowd, but it was pleasantly calm to see we didn't have to wait long (less 5 min) to get a table. The waitress was friendly & welcoming. Compared to other asian restaurants in Chinatown, the staff speaks excellent french/english. Decor has pretty cool vibe, mostly inspired from Bruce Lee & other movies/videogames from the 90's. Restaurant was ok in term of cleanliness, I have seen much worse in Chinatown. The menu is not extensive, but has enough items to please most crowds. We were a party of two, & we decide to take a speciality combo : Fried rice + combination of 3 meats (roasted pork, char Siu, & duck). The rice was very tasty, had that charred flavor that only a wok under gas grill can accomplish. A bit greasy (watch out diet followers), but that is to be expected. - Char Siu : very good, the meat was juicy & delicious. Maybe I would have liked a bit more browned/cooked on the exterior, but overall very good. - Roasted pork : the crispy skin is umamic! Meat was juicy, not dried at all. Maybe the best meat of all 3. Wished we had a bit more of this one! - Duck : less crispy skin than the roasted pork but still very good. The meat was slightly dried, but the taste was there. There was also green onion sauce with ginger, & pickled vegetables on the side, which were appreciated. It costs us 20$ + tip, & we have enough food for 2. Probably one of the best value for money in Chinatown. The only downside (& major upside) is that it's located inside a building. Not on Viger street. So you gotta know where to go. Takeout is also possible. Overall, the food was better than most of Chinatown restaurants where I've been, & it has an exceptional value for money. Will certainly go back. Perfect to bring a date, while showing your foodie personality!View more
First time trying char siu & man was I not disappointed. Roasted pork is also amazing. You can feel the love these guys put into their food. I ordered on Uber Eats & the food arrived cold & IT WAS STILL SO GOOD. So I can't even imagine how godlike their food must be when it's hot eating at their restaurant. I'm a fan & I will be seeing you guys soon in your establishment. Cheers.View more
My favourite restaurant in Montreal, the value you get for your money is difficult to beat! Love their bbq pork (siu yuk), It comes by default with a delicious scallions sauce. Make sure you order three meat choices if you're really hungry, also some rice on the side, it will still be quite affordable. Ps - there is a relatively affordable parking in the basement of the building.View more
