This time around, we actually sat & took the time to dine.
Their noodles is something else & this time it was different.
Located inside a building, not hard to find. I'm usually in for these type of food for the price & quality. This place, the quality was not there. Ordered the roasted pork/BBQ pork combo. Roasted pork had more fat than meat, the skin was chewy. BBQ pork is usually moist but it was on the dry side, sauce should've been added but zero was added. Young Chow Fried Rice was the only decent part of the experience.View more
Sinful ! The 3 meat platter w. Egg noodle soup & a side of rice …
Tough to beat this one …View more
Last time I came here was before COVID. Unfortunately, it's been a disappointment. Used to take the lunch combo. Took the Cantonese chow mein & pork soup noodles.
Cantonese chow mein : they used oyster sauce to make the sauce… big no already. Too salty but not even flavour. Dish was really small for a Chinese dish. There was no'Wok fire' taste at all, felt like cooked at home.
Pork noodles : broth could had a bigger hit of flavour, overall it was ok.
Milk tea was good.
Btw : What happened to all Asian employees ? Even the chef isn't Asian.View more
Really nice, calm spot for a meal! Great food & friendly service . The egg noodles with charsiu meat was absolutely delicious 🥰View more
View more
Our waitress was incredible. Despite us being a little late on our reservation, she was extremely warm towards our group & super enthusiastic. She saw that we were foodies & wanted to taste everything so she took the time to strategize how we would go about our order to maximize the amount of items we could taste.
The food was delicious. We got the 4 meat platter, shrimp & duck fried rice, chilli wonton noodles, duck chow main, veg of the day & soup. Everything was delicious.
I highly recommend this place & serious kudos to our waitress for being such a rockstar & providing authentically warm & enthusiastic service to our table.View more
Best cheap & cheerful noodle joint in all of Montréal. Great music. Most delicious lomein noodles. Always happy to eat hereView more
Decent noodle with good portion. I was looking for a place with good noodle & bbq pork&duck & this place did not disappoint me. Will go back again!View more
Cute spot with nice staff, but have noticed a sharp decrease in the food quality the past couple months. Ordered soy chow mein that was just soy sauce, noodles, bean sprouts, no onion, half the noodles were white & was overal bland. My favourite dish, Singapore noodles often come with no seasoning, no curry powder, just wet over cooked rice noodles with veg, pork & overcooked shrimp. Shame cause the staff & drinks are so great. The meats are good but are often more fat than meatView more
Came here for lunch the other day & the portions are quite large & good value for money. The bbq pork was pretty good, but my noodles were a bit too crispy for chow mein. Service was quick & friendly.View more
Foodie treasure in Chinatown Casual dining for locals & tourists alike, & the best roasted meats around We always have the roast pork, served either in a soup with noodles or on rice They also have delicious roasted duck & pork char sui You gotta try this place if you're downtown & need some great food It's perfect before a show or a walk thru the Quartier des SpectaclesView more
Food was amazing! Everything we ordered was a hit! Roast meats platter, hk pork chop over rice, yang chow fried rice, chow mein (crispy noodles), Chinese broccoli, etc. Will definitely come again when in town, wontons, etc.!View more
The meats are great, definitely better than surrounding places. However that's pretty much all that's good. The fried rice was the worst I've ever had, super bland & greasy. The noodles were mid too. Would still return for the meat though, will just stick to white rice next time.View more
Very nice & simple restaurant, serving traditionnal & modern hong kong style food. Fast & amazing service too! Highlights : - Char Siu Pork - Crispy roast pork belly - Well Seasoned fried chicken! They kept to same retro style as the old restaurant (it was a chinese noodle before) & it brings out some childhood memories ♥️View more
Decent Chinese food. The wok hei on the stir fried bok choy was pretty good but the noodles were cold & not as firm as I would have liked. The duck was good but the char siu was rather dry. Friendly staff.View more
