Really amazing food! We come from Toronto, luckily reserved for todays dinner, so delicious! Elliot & other 2 ladies served very well! Really beyond our expectations! Definitely recommend! We will come again! Hope next time we will have the same luck to have a seat when we come to Montreal!
Beautiful restaurant! We got the tasting menu & it was so delicious with great variety. One of my favourite things was the fried shrimp with labneh. The tasting menu is a little pricey in my opinion but it is filling & very well made. I would love to come back & just order dishes from the menu though!

Atmosphere is super charged & very welcoming. Food is superb. Especially the hummus & lamb, fatouche salad, the prawns. These all sound basic, but the best version of each dish furreal! Professional, smiling service.
Sure, go get your poutine & smoked meats from those other places. But, if you're in Montreal & you don't go to Damas, you are missing one of the best meals you will ever experience.
Wonderful place to enjoy with friends & family. The delicious & very authentic flavors of the Syrian cuisine plus the beautiful décoration are only competing with the most professional & dedicated staff. You will return & return. They also have a store on the other side of the street for you to take out their popular dishes.

Quelle belle expérience unique ! Nous avons pris le menu dégustation avec l'accord vin extraordinaire...Aucun regret ! Tout était parfait du début à la fin. La nourriture était incroyable, impressionnante, le service impeccable & que dire du sommelier Daniel, nous buvions ses paroles ! Il était passionné, intéressant & ne se contentait pas seulement d'expliquer le vin mais bien tout ce qui entoure le vignoble & son histoire. Il a fait en sorte que la soirée soit encore plus spéciale ! Nous avons déjà hâte d'y retourner ! 🥰 Aucune photo de prise, trop occupée à vivre l'expérience au maximum ! 😄
The food was amazing, service was incredible & the decor inside is so cute! My friend & I got the tasting menus & was NOT expecting the amount of food we got. There's a lot of items on the menu so we thought it would be small portions but we were stuffed halfway through, not complaining though! Food was great with lots of various flavours & spices. Would come again!
We made reservation & after we sat down, nobody came to ask us what we wanted to drink for HALF HOUR, & even didn't give us a glass of water. I asked a waiter why we don't have water, he told us to wait for our waitress, then we just sat there HALF HOUR. Food was ok but no second time.

Nous avons adoré nôtre expérience au Damas ! Le menu dégustation est incroyable & vaut le détour. Par contre c'est énorme, vaut mieux avoir le ventre vide avant votre visite ! Service impeccable aussi. Je recommande pour ceux qui veulent une expérience culinaire différente avec les saveurs Syrienne !
The food is usually quite good, the service is great but they changed some classics on the menu they shouldn't have. Was better before! It's a bit loud & overcrowded. A little pricey, too.

The food was good no complaints there, however, the service was not up to par. We asked for the Mezze & main courses to be served all at the same time, the server didn't say that would be a problem, we got the mezze first despite asking otherwise but not even 10 minutes later the server insisted to pack the rest of it to go as there won't be enough space for the mezze & main courses, which we agreed to cause we didn't have a choice & the waiter did not warn us about this beforehand. After we got home, the fattouch had spilled out of the box & ruined my car seat because the box wasn't sealed properly. Overall, we didn't have the most pleasant experience in such a high-end restaurant. PS: the "Pita" was more of a Tortilla.
J'ai récemment eu le plaisir d'aller au Damas pour une occasion importante & je dois dire que c'était une expérience exceptionnelle du début à la fin. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par le personnel attentionné & professionnel. Cependant, ce qui a vraiment fait briller notre soirée, c'est le service merveilleux de Mercedez. Mercedez a dépassé toutes nos attentes en matière de service. Son attention aux détails, sa gentillesse & sa connaissance approfondie de la gastronomie & de la carte des vins ont vraiment ajouté une touche spéciale à notre repas. Elle était toujours là pour répondre à nos questions, recommander des plats délicieux & s'assurer que notre expérience était absolument parfaite. En ce qui concerne la cuisine, chaque plat que nous avons commandé était délicieux & authentique. Les saveurs syriennes étaient parfaitement équilibrées & chaque bouchée était une explosion de goût. Dans l'ensemble, notre visite au Damas a été mémorable grâce à l'excellent service de Mercedez & à la délicieuse cuisine. Si vous cherchez une expérience culinaire authentique & mémorable, ne cherchez pas plus loin.
