One of the best dining experiences I've ever had. The ambiance is absolutely stunning, beautifully designed, warm, & inviting, creating the perfect atmosphere for an unforgettable meal. Our waiter, Nick, was absolutely outstanding. His knowledge, attentiveness, & genuine hospitality elevated the entire evening & made the experience truly unforgettable.
If you're visiting, I can't recommend the tasting menu enough. Every course was beautifully presented, perfectly paced, & absolutely delicious. It was the perfect way to experience everything the restaurant has to offer.
I'll be referring everyone I know who visits Montreal to come here. It's the kind of place that leaves a lasting impression, & I can't wait to come back.
The service was beyond incredible. The food was excellent & at times surprising in such a nice way. Really warm & inviting atmosphere. Had a great time celebrating our 3rd wedding anniversary here.
Beautiful atmosphere & service. The vegan Mujadra was delicious. I got the chicken which was great too. Only took off one star because the chicken was served with mayo sauces? I was surprised to see such a high end restaurant serve mayo! That really put me off. Would have preferred yogurt instead.

Nous sommes allés à ce restaurant en novembre dernier & je peux garantir que c'est un des meilleurs restaurants que j'ai été des dernières années.
Tout d'abord le serveur nous a aidé quant au choix de la bouteille de vin pour accompagner nos plats. Il était très sympathique & souriant.
Pour la nourriture, pour la plupart des plats, nous avons découvert de nouvelles saveurs & des nouveaux mets. J'étais agréablement surpris par la qualité de ce qui nous était servi.
Nous en avions beaucoup entendu parler avant d'y aller pour la première fois & nous n'avons pas été déçu.
Food was very yummy! & the atmosphere is great. Gotta get the mint tea... the best.
Special shout out to the girl who tended to us while we waited for our table, her personality was outstanding & she came & checked on us a few times after we were handed over. The wine connoisseur also gets a shout out, paired very nice wines with our meal & we had fun learning about it.
The food is perfect, which is all that matters. You can see the portion decrease from previous years (especially with the kibbeh nayyeh 😞) but my god does it taste amazing. We also had a lovely server who went out of her way to make sure we enjoyed our experience. If you're craving exceptional Syrian food, you must come to Damas 🤍
We visited Damas on a Saturday evening for a double?date to celebrate our wedding anniversary, & from the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed. We ordered a range of dishes, with the cheese borek & lamb hummus standing out as clear favorites. The mixed grill is essential if you want to sample their different meats, each cooked beautifully. & don't hesitate to ask for extra bread as it arrives warm, soft, & impossible to resist. Throughout the meal, the attentive service really shone, from changing our plates between courses to keeping our water glasses filled. It made the whole evening feel thoughtful & special.
