Insanely expensive for what it is. Don't get the'tasting menu' it's a scam. It's just a prix fixe family style menu & wildly overpriced.

An unforgettable culinary journey! Dining at Damas was like being transported to the heart of Syria. Every dish was bursting with exotic spices, vibrant flavors, & stunning presentation. The atmosphere was elegant yet welcoming, & the service was outstanding-from the moment we arrived, the staff went out of their way to help us lift our stroller into the restaurant. A truly thoughtful touch that set the tone for an amazing evening. One of Montreal's finest dining experiences-an absolute must-visit!
Tried Damas for the first time, the food was spectacular, but came here to mention how good the service that we recieved was. Never had a waitress that was this attentive to making our experience the best! Thank you Mercedes!
Service was excellent. Our server Emil was very knowledgeable & kind & provided great recommendations without us asking. We did the tasting menu & they were very accommodating of the vegetarian diet. My meal was just as elaborate & thoughtfully done as the meat dishes & they even accommodated the no egg requirement. That is usually not the case. Each course was excellent & better than the previous course…all up until the dessert. We had told them it was our anniversary & they brought a plate with a deconstructed panna cotta & lemon coolie of sorts, with some crushed up chocolate cookie on top. It was so basic & underwhelming compared to the other dishes in the tasting menu. It sounded like the desserts rotated so guess it wasn't our lucky day. Price is definitely on the higher end but I guess you're paying for the creativity & presentation. Overall an awesome meal & I would highly recommend this restaurant.

The space & service are exquisite. We ordered the fattoush salad, shrimp in kataifi, fried kiffeh, & fillet mignon.
Very impressed with our experience. Service was friendly & felt genuine & effortless. Really good. Drinks & food were memorable. Space was beautiful. Would highly recommend.
Got the fattoush salad (good but not iconic like they would imply) , lamb kibbeh (loved this), lamb rack & chicken kebab both very good flavor. Excellent accompaniments. Great pitas.

Hello, we went to eat Sunday for Mother's day the food spectacular like always but the bus girl that was working in our section wow she needs a lot of training we felt like we were bothering her didn't wait for us to finish before removing the dishes, clean the table with the rag like saying leave.

I'm honestly wowwwed!!! We took the tasting menu with the Mediterranean wine pairing. I am completely impressed with the quality & quantity of food, as well as the wine pairings. You have a lot more than you pay for. Our waiter Patrick & our sommelier John (which is very knowledgeable) were simply amazing. Their service is on point, professional, attentive to details, & just enjoyable. I will definitely recommend & come back without hesitation. Thank you for this beautiful experience!!

From the moment we walked into Damas, we were greeted with warmth & professionalism that set the tone for an unforgettable evening. The atmosphere was inviting, with a perfect balance of class & comfort. But what truly elevated our experience was the outstanding team that took care of us.
Behind the bar, Theo & Kodjo were nothing short of magicians. Their passion for mixology was evident with every drink they crafted. Each cocktail was a masterpiece-perfectly balanced, visually stunning, & bursting with flavor. Theo's creations were bold & innovative, while Kodjo's cocktail suggestions & welcoming personality left us genuinely impressed. It's rare to find bartenders who not only understand the art of cocktails but execute it with such finesse. Their recommendations, paired with Elliot's thoughtful beverage suggestions, created a seamless experience that carried through the evening. Not only were they incredibly skilled, but they were also genuinely friendly & easy to talk with, making the night feel personal & memorable.
Our server, Elliot, was equally exceptional. His attentiveness & kindness made us feel right at home. What really stood out was his knack for wine pairings. Every suggestion he made complemented our dishes flawlessly, enhancing the flavors & making the entire meal feel harmonious. It's clear he has a deep understanding of both wine & food, & his recommendations were spot-on.
Dimitri, who served our dishes, took the experience even further. His knowledge of the menu was impressive, & he took the time to describe each dish with detail & passion. His insights made us appreciate the flavors & ingredients even more.
A special mention goes to Livianne, who ensured our water glasses were always filled with a smile. It's a small gesture that often goes unnoticed, but her attentiveness made us feel genuinely cared for throughout the evening.
The entire team worked seamlessly to make sure our space was always clean & well-maintained, adding to the relaxed & polished atmosphere.
Damas isn't just a place to eat; it's a place to experience exceptional service, masterful cocktails, & perfectly paired wines. One of the best dining experiences I've ever had. Damas truly lives up to its reputation as one of the top restaurants in the city. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm & inviting-elegant without being pretentious. The service was attentive & thoughtful, making us feel genuinely cared for throughout the meal.
The food? Exceptional. The variety & freshness of the dips, the perfectly grilled octopus, the tender & flavorful shish taouk chicken-all served with warm, fluffy pitas that we couldn't get enough of. Every bite was rich with bold, balanced flavors that spoke to the quality & authenticity of the cuisine.
It's no surprise this place is so highly rated. I'm beyond impressed & would recommend Damas to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience.
