Go-to for Korean bbq. Nice cozy atmosphere, nice tender juicy beef. Nice assortment of sides. Yum! Open late until 2am every day! Very nice if you want to grab a good meal after an evening shift.

If you're looking for yummy & filling food, I highly recommend trying Dalgondae. It's been my to-go-to KBBQ for years ! So many sides & delicious meats to choose from. The staff is very friendly too.

I don't want to be dramatic, but this Korean BBQ changed my life. I walked in hungry. I walked out spiritually fulfilled, smelling like grilled heaven & questioning every meal I had before this one.
The moment that marinated beef touched the grill, I heard angels. Not a metaphor - actual angels. One of them might've been my grandmother. (She said'flip it, you fool!' because I got distracted by the side dishes.)
Speaking of side dishes - banchan galore! I swear the kimchi slapped harder than my Asian mom when I got a B+. Every little plate was like a supporting actor stealing the show. I caught feelings for a pickled radish. It's complicated.
The server was a meat ninja - flipping, slicing, checking temperatures like they were born with tongs in their hands. I offered them a friendship bracelet by the end of the night.
🔥 Pro tip: Wear stretchy pants. Regret nothing. You'll eat like you're going to war with hunger & win gloriously.
By the end, I was full, happy, & slightly concerned for my cholesterol. But if this is how I go out - surrounded by sizzling pork belly & good company - I'm at peace.
Would I come back? Yes. Would I sell my left sock for another round of bulgogi? Without hesitation.

I'm obsessed with this place! I coherence everytime I'm in montreal, & trust me thats often.
It's a great place for friends, family, i even brought my god daughter there & she ate some of the food!
The service, the food, the atmosphere, experience, everything is just wonderful. It's also fun! Doing you're own cooking, mixing the different dishes of the buffet, it's just great!
My wife loved it me i loved it in a different way. She loved the food me a bit less but loves the service very nice emploies. I loves the experience too. & l loved how the place is small & intimite at the same time. Worth trying it

Daldongnae is always such a great experience. The food is consistently amazing every single time. The quality never misses, & everything is super tasty. Whether you're going with friends or just craving good food, this place never disappoints.
Tasty flavor combinations around a hot grill. Pick a meat, order a kimchi pancake, & enjoy all the interesting mini-side dishes as you sizzle. Get a beer. High energy spot (not quiet). Our servers were wonderful.
Edit Late 2025: Classic 11pm Dalgongnae experience, great food with terrible service. Oh did I reminisce the experience. Will be back again next time to see what my next adventure will be!!
Edit 2025: staff still depressed & wants to kill themselves, minimum tip on the machine is 18% for dog service. Better reconsider the minimum on the machine cuz 18 is quote offensive for the service you receive here. Fans were also not turned on for the entire restaurant so it was extremely smokey
Food is still good though.

I have never seen staff members this depressed in my entire life. Slow & depressed. Food is good though, expensive & service is lacking
