L'ambiance est generalement dynamique et chaleureuse, mais le service peut varier de tres attentif et rapide a moins attentif et lent, surtout pendant les heures de pointe; certains clients soulignent des difficultes de communication en francais et des delais sur les commandes ou sur la facture. Le rapport qualite prix est aussi mitigé: plusieurs trouvent les prix raisonnables, d autres estiment l addition onereuse, meme pour les plats les moins chers; des remarques sur la fumee et un espace parfois trop enfume reviennent aussi, ce qui peut etre inconfortable. Malgre cela, beaucoup considèrent que c est une adresse incontournable pour les amateurs de KBBQ et promettent de revenir, attirés par l authenticite, la variete des viandes et des accompagnements et l experience de cuisson au barbecue a table.
My first time eating here was on March 26th & I had the pleasure of dining with my Korean friend. My friend explained the meaning of the name & interior features which make this restaurant quite special. The choice of meats is outstanding & the cuts were authentic Korean. The meal was great as was the service. It was a fun experience that can be enjoyed at any pace. The server was very helpful with ensuring my gluten allergy didn't get me into trouble. We were not rushed & were allowed plenty of time to enjoy the classic Chamisul soju. I highly recommend Daldongnae & look forward to returning soon.
Très bonne expérience ! La nourriture était délicieuse, surtout la viande bien marinée. Le concept est convivial & parfait pour un souper entre amis. Le service était rapide & attentionné. Je recommande.

I discovered Daldognae years ago from a tiktok, I am so glad I tried this place. It has an authentic feel, high quality meats & such great variety of soju flavours. I love how welcoming the staff is. Whenever I go to Montreal, I love to eat here. I recently tried a different flavour of soju & I recommend you try it when you go. PLUM SOJU 💕
I've been there 3 times so far. The food has been great for all of them & so was the atmosphere. The food also comes pretty quickly. However, on my 3rd visit, despite the restaurant being almost empty, my friends & I had to wait over 30 minutes for the bill despite our table being practically empty as we had been stacking the plates & pushing them towards the edge of the table to indicate our readiness to leave. Obviously will be returning anyway & will continue to recommend this place to people.

If you're looking for yummy & filling food, I highly recommend trying Dalgondae. It's been my to-go-to KBBQ for years ! So many sides & delicious meats to choose from. The staff is very friendly too.
I'm obsessed with this place! I coherence everytime I'm in montreal, & trust me thats often.
It's a great place for friends, family, i even brought my god daughter there & she ate some of the food!
The service, the food, the atmosphere, experience, everything is just wonderful. It's also fun! Doing you're own cooking, mixing the different dishes of the buffet, it's just great!

I totally recommend! Super cute place very cozy, the servers work really hard & are always there to help! The food was great! I loved the soja paste soup! & for the meat loved the marinated beef!! Price is great for what you get!

Nous sommes entrés par hasard & mon conjoint, mes deux enfants (5-7 ans) & moi-même avons adoré.
La plupart des serveurs parlent anglais, mais ils
ont bien pris le temps de nous expliquer tout ce que nous devions savoir afin de vivre une expérience hors du commun. Ceux qui parlaient français sont également venus s'assurer de notre confort. Excellent service au table pour s'assurer qu'on me manque de rien ou qu'on veut recommander quelque chose.
La nourriture était fraîche & goûteuse.
Une première fois pour nous, mais certainement pas une dernière.
This place was amazing! The food was great, along with the service & atmosphere. I'd recommend getting a reservation, we were quickly seated while the place was getting pretty busy around dinner time. Definitely check this place out if you're ever in the area.
