Le rapport qualite prix est aussi mitigé: plusieurs trouvent les prix raisonnables, d autres estiment l addition onereuse, meme pour les plats les moins chers; des remarques sur la fumee et un espace parfois trop enfume reviennent aussi, ce qui peut etre inconfortable. Malgre cela, beaucoup considèrent que c est une adresse incontournable pour les amateurs de KBBQ et promettent de revenir, attirés par l authenticite, la variete des viandes et des accompagnements et l experience de cuisson au barbecue a table.
We have been here many times & we all like the food here, but the guests here must order barbecue every time. Sometimes when you only want to have a noodles or rice, it is not available.
Lately, the food has started to get worse, the beef quality has declined, & the service has become less attentive.

Order 2 beef & 1 pork to bbq… didn't have many choices of beef to choose because it was all sold out. We also ordered 2 noodles. We didn't even have enough time to eating our meet & they already bring us the bill, find that awkward.
Daldongnae Korean BBQ is a must-visit for anyone who loves an authentic Korean BBQ experience! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was upbeat & inviting, with friendly staff ready to guide us through the menu. The best part? The meat! The quality of the beef, pork, & chicken was outstanding, & grilling it at the table made the whole experience interactive & fun. The side dishes (banchan) were also fantastic - flavorful & diverse, they perfectly complemented the main dishes. The kimchi & spicy rice cakes were particular standouts. The service was fast & efficient, & the atmosphere was lively without being overwhelming. If you're in the mood for an interactive dining experience with incredible flavors, Daldongnae is the place to go. I'll definitely be coming back!
Go-to for Korean bbq. Nice cozy atmosphere, nice tender juicy beef. Nice assortment of sides. Yum! Open late until 2am every day! Very nice if you want to grab a good meal after an evening shift.

I don't want to be dramatic, but this Korean BBQ changed my life. I walked in hungry. I walked out spiritually fulfilled, smelling like grilled heaven & questioning every meal I had before this one.
The moment that marinated beef touched the grill, I heard angels. Not a metaphor - actual angels. One of them might've been my grandmother. (She said'flip it, you fool!' because I got distracted by the side dishes.)
Speaking of side dishes - banchan galore! I swear the kimchi slapped harder than my Asian mom when I got a B+. Every little plate was like a supporting actor stealing the show. I caught feelings for a pickled radish. It's complicated.
The server was a meat ninja - flipping, slicing, checking temperatures like they were born with tongs in their hands. I offered them a friendship bracelet by the end of the night.
🔥 Pro tip: Wear stretchy pants. Regret nothing. You'll eat like you're going to war with hunger & win gloriously.
By the end, I was full, happy, & slightly concerned for my cholesterol. But if this is how I go out - surrounded by sizzling pork belly & good company - I'm at peace.
Would I come back? Yes. Would I sell my left sock for another round of bulgogi? Without hesitation.

I totally recommend! Super cute place very cozy, the servers work really hard & are always there to help! The food was great! I loved the soja paste soup! & for the meat loved the marinated beef!! Price is great for what you get!
Food: The food was pretty good but not amazing. The banchan that came with the meat was very tasty & there were a lot of options. However, they only gave us five pieces of normal napa cabbage kimchi which was a little weird. The meat does not come seasoned, which was expected, & felt very tough to eat after cooked to a medium/medium rare. My favorite/recommended cut is the beef short rib. Service: Great! Staff was very attentive & worked quickly. Atmosphere: Great! Felt like I was eating at a KBBQ in Asia. The ventilation was good & I didn't smell too badly of smoke afterwords. Overall: I thought it was a good experience but it was not the best kbbq I have been to. The price is a bit expensive. For two people we got three servings of meat & a bottle of soju at ~105CAD.
Beef was AMAZING only downside was our heating plate wasn't heating up the sides so by the time we finished the meat we still hadn't gotten to try the egg or the cheese corn side dishes. But overall taste of everything was amazing.

Tried this place for the first time. Not disappointed at all, we had the Boneless Short Rib which I strongly recommend. We also tried Beef Chuck Steak which was great 👍 the Bean Soup was refillable as were all the sides as much as you wanted. Everything was fresh & good & the service was helpful(cucumbers could have been a little fresher). Otherwise, 10/10. For the price, the quality of meat was high. Will be back.
was good but the pork was so chewy.. We got beef short ribs & pork skirt & my gosh I spent half the time fighting for my life with the pork💀💀. Good side dishes & great service, staff checked on our table frequently. Would recommend the beef over pork if you aren't a fan of chewy meat. Would skip hot noodle soup (entree) tbh.. salty & not that much going on imo. Main criticisms are that we were served a dirty spoon, pork was chewy, soups were just meh & music was really loud in eating area & washrooms. Portions are good however, two servings of proteins, shared soup entree & complimentary tofu soup for 2 people is satisfactory & not overly filling (70$) 🤷 7.5/10 will come again 👍
For late night cravings & astonishing Wagyu Beef. I had the best ever Beef Tartare with Egg Yolk, the sesame oil adds a twist to it. All KBBQ comes with: - Corn Cheese - Eggs - Kimchi - Garlic - Soja Paste Soup - Pumpkin Salad - Sweet Potato Noodles (Japchae) - Seaweed Salad - Marinated Cucumbers - Sprouted Beans with Soy Sauce - Lettuce
Great side dishes. Love the cheesy corn & steamed eggs. We got the boneless beef ribs & originally wanted the wagyu chuck steak but they were sold out for the day but they had the wagyu tenderloin. We also got a kimchi tofu soup which was a nice filler to eat on the side. With the a la carte menu prices can add up with drinks. The refillable side dishes is a nice feature!

A good Korean bbq restaurant I found in Montreal. However, ventilation is poor & it is difficult to find a server when it is busy. Pork skin is not recommended, but the beef short ribs & pork belly were delicious here. It's no secret that the price is a bit expensive.
