The food is delicious. Good variety of meats. The side dishes are really small though, especially if you are a large group. The portions are the same size regardless of whether you're 2 people or 10 people. There was also no explanation about how the side dishes work. No one told us that we were allowed refills. In fact, we didn't know that we could have more sides until halfway through the meal, which dampened the experience because I like to make wraps with different sides inside, such as garlic & kimchi. For the majority of the meal, we didn't have any kimchi or garlic, which is a MUST for Korean BBQ. We tried grabbing the attention of the servers to order more, but they are very inattentive amd you have to ask for something at least 3x before they bring it to you. Finally, we asked for more sides & realized we could have refills at no extra cost. But they would give us such a tiny amount. We had to keep asking for more, it was ridiculous. We specified the sides that we liked & asked for a larger portion so we wouldn't have to keep asking for a refill every 2 minutes. It would have been more efficient. The waitress said it wasn't possible. Then another server dropped a plate & spilled sauce on my friend. My friend's shirt is now ruined. It was an accident so we arent upset, but it shows that the staff are not trained. It wasn't as if he was carrying & balancing a lot of plates. He literally dropped a plate full of sauce on my friend.
I would definitely return for fhe food though, even with the bad service. Just make sure you aren't wearing anything nice, & preferably no white clothes in case the server drops food on you. In my opinion, it's the best tasting Korean BBQ in the city, with authentic side dishes. Source: I lived in Korea for several years.Voir plus

I don't want to be dramatic, but this Korean BBQ changed my life. I walked in hungry. I walked out spiritually fulfilled, smelling like grilled heaven & questioning every meal I had before this one.
The moment that marinated beef touched the grill, I heard angels. Not a metaphor - actual angels. One of them might've been my grandmother. (She said'flip it, you fool!' because I got distracted by the side dishes.)
Speaking of side dishes - banchan galore! I swear the kimchi slapped harder than my Asian mom when I got a B+. Every little plate was like a supporting actor stealing the show. I caught feelings for a pickled radish. It's complicated.
The server was a meat ninja - flipping, slicing, checking temperatures like they were born with tongs in their hands. I offered them a friendship bracelet by the end of the night.
🔥 Pro tip: Wear stretchy pants. Regret nothing. You'll eat like you're going to war with hunger & win gloriously.
By the end, I was full, happy, & slightly concerned for my cholesterol. But if this is how I go out - surrounded by sizzling pork belly & good company - I'm at peace.
Would I come back? Yes. Would I sell my left sock for another round of bulgogi? Without hesitation.

To use the BBQ, each person has to order one item from the menu. But I wanted the kimchi pancake & the bibimbap, so a friend ordered two servings, so that we can use the grill. The BBQ menu is pricey but it comes with refillable bean paste soup, side dishes, sauces & lettuce. The side dishes contains anchovy sauce (bean sprouts, cucumbers, japchae, seaweed). The bibimbap comes with fish roe. It's served on a hot stone bowl. The kimchi pancake is the size of a pizza. It's a lot of food & everyone was full.Voir plus

Assez déçue. J'ai amené mes amis hier à ce bbq coréen ( c'était ma deuxième fois dans un barbecue coréen) & j'ai été assez déçu. Je vous explique en plusieurs points. 1. Le service: je ne sais pas si c'est tous les serveurs mais honnêtement c'est ce qui m'a le plus déçu. On entre & déjà le serveur nous accueil en se braquant : " i don't speak french! ". Je comprends que le français est une langue "difficile" mais sérieusement si j'avais dit "i don't speak Japanese" dans son pays à un client japonais ça ne serait clairement pas passé (= gros manque de respect) & j'aurais certainement perdu ma job ( pire: certainement aucune possibilité d'avoir l'emploi même!) . Mais bon au Québec on est sympa donc bon je lui parle dans sa langue maternelle. J'ai trouvé ça vraiment ordinaire. De plus mon conjoint québécois a trouvé que son anglais était très difficile à comprendre. J'ai trouvé ça vraiment dommage le manque d' effort (surtout le refus d'essayer). Simplement un "merci" ,un "bonjour" , un "s'il vous plait" ou un "désolé" aurait été apprécié par RESPECT. Ça nous fait sentir mal que d'être dans une province francophone (le Québec) & de ne pas pouvoir être servi en français dans notre langue. Si vous allez en France le service est en français. Si vous allez en Espagne c'est en espagnol. Si vous allez au Japon c'est en japonais. 2. Manque d'explications: Clairement il aurait fallu prendre au moins quelques minutes pour nous expliquer. J'ai trouvé qu'on était livré à nous mêmes concernant le fonctionnement du BBQ. Ils voyaient bien qu'on galérait & personne n'est venu nous aider. La soupe miso venait avec (x1) on était 4... bizarre on nous a pas proposé de bols pour partager. Pas d'assiettes non plus. On se retrouve avec les sauces & les condiments & débrouille toi. 3. Les condiments: C'était pas mauvais mais honnêtement c'était pas ouf non plus. Le kimchi était sec. 4. Ma boisson: j'ai rien compris. Il m'a rapidement expliqué en anglais ( boisson verte avec une glace dedans) . Ça coulait partout. Je n'ai pas senti le goût de l'alcool mais il m'avait avertie au moins que c'était pas super fort. 5. L'addition : on a divisé le prix en deux automatiquement, on aurait voulu payer ce qu'on avait commandé. 6. La viande était très bonne surtout le filet mignon. 7. Conclusion: Mauvais accueil, mauvais départ. 8. Je reviendrais pas. On s'est vraiment sentis comme des 馬鹿外人. Humiliant.Voir plus
