I been going to this place since a child. Haven't been back for a while. But my kids talking me there for my b'day. What a treat for the pallet anf & the old memories.
Je demeure en Montérégie, moi & mon amie avions le goût d'un bon spaghetti avec boulettes a l'ancienne, nous avons fait preparé la commande & sommes allés la chercher ! 30 minutes de transport, service avec un sourire & respect, plats doubles pour garder la chaleur vu le transport Même excellent goût & souvenir de notre jeunesse! Ça vallait tellement le déplacement !
We've had pizza & salad here several times while visiting Montreal over the years. Most recently in 2026. Always good, & fairly priced. They have lots of TV's if you want to watch sports. Recommend.
Le gout est très ordinaire, le spaghetthi sauce à la viande & la pizza de mes amis était décevante. Ne payez pas si cher pour une qualité d'aliments médiocres. Beaucoup de resto de pates & pizza offrent mieux.
Da Giovanni is a classic restaurant to go in Montréal , classic menu & simple menu but they serve it at there best , & the house wine is just delicious , it's a must everytime i'm downtown 🥰

Si comme moi, ça fait plusieurs années que vous n'aviez été, vous allez être extrêmement déçu. Absolument rien de comparable à l'ancien Da Giovanni.
Pour plusieurs raisons. Resto très petit, peu de banquettes, sombres, services extrêmement lent, peu de choix au menu, serveurs pas souriant & pas sympathique & facture cher.
Le seul point positif, la nourriture est bonne.
Autrement dit, ils ont gardé seulement le nom Da Giovanni pour attiré la clientèle.
Dernière fois à ce resto.

Cuisine génial malgré le peu de choix la nourriture est de qualité & bien présenté
Ce restaurent a mon avis a perdu son ambiance dans temps. Plus encore, ancien restaurent il y avait des files à la porte. Il était vide a l'heure qui arrivait au souper. Décors est pas superbe. Le spaghetti bon, mais pas beaucoup de sauce.

La nourriture était ok, manque de sel & d'épices selon mon goût mais quand même mangeable.
La cuisine ferme à 20h! Ce qui n'a absolument aucun sens pour moi un samedi soir sur la rue ste-Catherine.
Par contre l'endroit est bien décoré & confortable.
