Review Summary

Curry Mahal draws praise for bold, flavorful dishes at good value, with crowd favorites like butter chicken poutine, shrimp curry, samosas and a wide range of vegetarian options consistently mentioned. Service is described as fast and hospitable, with delivery noted for speed and reliability, and the decor is often described as minimal rather than impressive. Vegetarian dishes are widely highlighted as a strength, including chana, aloo gobi, palak paneer and a well regarded vegetarian thali, while some reviews credit generous portions and quality such as naan and paratha. A few experiences are more mixed, with dal makhni sometimes rated below average and a note about the paneer gravy, and one comment suggesting a bite that might deter future visits; cleanliness or washroom concerns have also appeared in some notes. Overall, Curry Mahal seems to be a dependable, reasonably priced option for quick Indian meals, especially for takeout in the plateau, delivering strong flavor and fast service for many diners, though not every dish will satisfy every palate.

The food is a hit & miss sometimes but I have been happier since I started ordering only veggie dishes. I always order the chana, aloo gobi, & palak paneer which actually has more than two pieces of paneer unlike some nearby places. The samosas & aloo paratha are the best in the area. Delivery is always super fast too.

One bite into the food & you are sure, that you won't visit again. They probably add tomato ketchup in their sweet & spicy paneer gravy. Daal makhni was below average. Naan was okay.
Server was good though.
Edit: The washroom scared me (shady & dark af)

Their Aloo paratha is the best item! I think I'll never stop having those. Their biryani is terrible as every time it is consumed, we get sick enough to throw up our guts out! They need to work on their palak paneer dish, it is not done properly & looks pretty raw, the colour comes out to light green & has heavy chunks?!

I am basing my review on delivery orders. I think I've ordered at least a dozen times now & have tried a few starters & appetizers. I've never had an issue with freshness or quality of food. I've ordered alone, with multiple friends & each time people are happy. The combos for 2 are quite generous (lots of protein in the gravies). Whereas most of my previous go-to spots either are so expensive now or I have had actual food quality issues, this place hits the spot. Can't speak on the inside of the restaurant. The paneer pakora are quite good as an appetizer. My only note (not a negative by any means) is that non-spicy option is already a bit spicy. If you go with spicy option, good luck to you!

My family & I ordered the tandoori chicken legs, garlic naan, shaahi paneer, & the very spicy chicken biryani. Everything arrived relatively quick & the staff were great. 10/10 overall experience!
