Review Summary

Cuisine De Manille receives praise for authentic Filipino flavors, generous portions, and a warm, casual, family run vibe, with standout dishes like adobo, pancit bihon, lechon, sisig, and halo halo and a popular Kamayan feast that many diners say is the best way to sample the menu. The restaurant is frequently commended for friendly, attentive service and for accommodating groups, takeout, delivery, and catering, with several reviews noting quick responses and reliable catering for celebrations. While most notes are positive about taste and value, some diners report rising prices, smaller portions, and inconsistent seasoning, including a few dishes that felt one note or oily and occasional misses in takeout orders. The ambiance, cleanliness, and straightforward menu help make it a solid go to for Filipino comfort food, with multiple diners saying they would return to enjoy the variety, whether dining in or ordering for a gathering.

Food was extremely oily. But I am giving it a three stars because the cashier was nice.

My husband & I came here for Valentine's Day & unfortunately left a bit disappointed. We originally planned to order the Kamayan, but were told the Valentine's Day special would offer that & more. In reality, it was more expensive & felt like it offered less value as it wasn't the same items.
They had run out of the chicken & calamari (as seen in the photos online) included in the special & offered fried chicken as a replacement. It also didn't include the lumpia rolls I was really looking forward to trying. When I asked about the rolls on the platter, I was told they were just regular spring rolls. It would have been nice if this had been clearly explained when we were ordering.
Overall, we just wish there had been better communication about what was included in the Valentine's special, especially since it was a set menu. We were really looking forward to the experience & left feeling underwhelmed. On the plus side.. the pancit & adobo pork was really good.

J'aime beaucoup commander à ce restaurant, les brochettes porc bbq & le pancit bihon miam. Cependant, le prix monte & la quantité diminue au fil des ans, décevant… Sinon ç'aurait été 5*

Not only was the place spick & span, but the person who served us, Rose, was very helpful & respectful! We are from Mexico & it was the first time we had tried Filipino food. It was DELICIOUS!!! Adobo reminded me of a mole, but with pork!!! What a great experience!!! If you are looking for Filipino food, then this is the place!

Unfortunately, I did not like my meal at Cuisine de Manille today. I had the kare-kare, & it felt very one-note. The dish had no acidity, no spice - just an oily taste from the fried pork & the peanut sauce. However, I did enjoy the garlic rice & the boiled green beans, although they were nothing to write home about.

As for the price, the menu said around $16 for my dish, but I was charged $20 (excluding taxes & the $1 extra for garlic rice). I think the menu prices should be updated to reflect that.

They served us cold rice! They have a shortage of napkins to clean your mouth so better bring your own. Boodle fight is mediocre at best & overpriced for what you get. Will never go back.

Once a place to experience the Philippines without having to travel there the prices have gone up considerably & the portions gone down & the quality of food is not what you should get for what you now pay. Sad to see a place I once loved & frequented I now wouldn't go back. I want to update the review because Peter the manager reached out & showed a tremendous amount of care & took the time to respond & reach out on a personal level. I will judge not on the last 2 times I will judge for what the restaurant has always been in the past.
