I love the croissants but my purchase this weekend left me surprised. I felt I bought a dozen Costco croissants! Maybe an off day?
Tried this place on the recommendation of my coworker & turns out a pretty amazing place for croissants. Honestly love their cheese croissant
The products here are so good that frankly it might be a good reason alone to come to Montreal. Tip: order six pieces & they'll discount the tax.
Ok I will tell.others that Croissant is the best place for coffee & croissant
Food is good, but they have no organization. I was lining up & two clients who came inside after me were served before me. It's not the first time either.
I bought the best strawberry cake I've ever had in my life! Their fruit tarts are absolutely amazing, & their danishes are the best I've tasted. Everything is fresh, delicious, & made with so much care. A true gem!
I highly recommend Croissant Monkland. Their croissants (by far the best ones in NDG), pastries, pies, cakes... are just'super delicious'! & try also their divine'crème brûlée'!!! Staff is great & you will not find better prices for this quality in the entire hood. Long live Croissant Monkland, the best bakery in NDG!
Best croissant in NDG & I dare say, in Montreal!!! LOVE this NDG treasure!
There was still a variety of items available when I visited around 12:30 pm on a Tuesday, though they were running low on a few things. I got the chocolate eclair & the almond croissant.
Chocolate eclair: The ganache on top was fantastic, but the chocolate filling didn't taste like anything, & it was grainy. The choux itself was too soggy. Pretty disappointing overall, wouldn't recommend.
Almond croissant: This was fan-freakin-tastic. It was definitely a few hours old at this point since it was one of only a few left, but magically IT WAS STILL CRISPY & FLAKY. That crust on top, the moist interior, the flavor of the almond paste 🤌 As expected, Croissant Monkland knows how to make a good almond croissant.
