The food here is amazing, but the service was a letdown. We waited around 20 minutes just to get our order taken. Once the food came, it was totally worth it - the foie gras is a must-try! The place has a cozy vibe & a nice wine selection. Overall, great food & atmosphere, but the slow service really stood out.

We waited over 20 minutes before anyone took our order. The portions were extremely small, & the $65-per-person menu designed for MTLÀTABLE was far from sufficient-we had to order extra sushi just to feel satisfied. Overall, it's quite pricey for what you get. The service was also disappointing. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant & won't be returning.
Love the vibe & the sushi, definitely coming back here again!
Update: 3 years later, we've come a bunch of times since my first review. Food is just as good & service is super friendly. Will still keep coming back for more!
Just meh… I wanted more & also expected more based off of the reviews! The sushi was just ok, i've had much better sushi at an all you can eat for cheaper. Nothing that special, I wasn't very impressed. Would I go back? no

Fresh food, friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, especially the wasabi grated from fresh wasabi root makes the dish more delicious, I really like this place
We had the shrimp
Tempura to start & 2 sushi rolls & the pad Thai noodles. The sushi is creative & delicious! The pad Thai was also very delicious!
The windows were wide open which made it feel like a terrace on this lovely night.
Nous avons découvert Coba lors de notre premier rendez-vous il y a 10 ans. Aujourd'hui, mariés & parents de deux enfants, c'est toujours notre resto coup de coeur. La nourriture est délicieuse, les plats sont frais, c'est la totale le service est chaleureux & l'endroit impeccable.

A very enjoyable experience. After speaking with the wait staff for a few minutes about the menu, we instead decided to have the chef choose & prepare for us his signature dishes for our entire menu from entrees to dessert. The dishes were all visually appealing & delicious.
So far, the best sushi spot we've tried in Montreal!
We started with dumplings as an appetizer - perfectly cooked & delicious. For sushi, we ordered Le Duo with Sake Teriyaki & Tokyo rolls - fresh, flavorful, & beautifully presented. As a main, we had the General Tao chicken with rice, which was just as satisfying.
The staff were incredibly friendly & helpful, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely a place we'll be coming back to!
Aujourd'hui, j'ai été invité à dîner ici par mon fils. C'est super du service à la nourriture ici, tout est frais & délicieux, le propriétaire est toujours souriant, le personnel est sympathique, bref nous sommes très satisfaits. Nous revenons sans cesse à cet endroit. Merci à tous🙏❤?
