I had an uncomfortable experience when I came to buy some chocolates from here. I wanted to buy some assorted chocolates to my family as gifts, so I wanted 2 boxes, for a total of 48 chocolates. Like any other business, they sell a larger quantity of chocolates for a "bulk price", that is cheaper than if you would buy them individually. This seemed very convenient, so I thought, I will buy 48 chocolates & ask them to put it in 2 boxes, so that I can save a bit of money & not have to pay for a batch of 24 & another batch of 24. They told me that if I wanted to buy 48, & split them, they couldnt put them in 2 boxes, they could only divide them in 2 bags. I did not understand why. They went on to explain that they couldnt put them in 2 boxes, because there was no way they could separate the cost of the boxes. I still did not understand. The boxes they use are cardboard, they are worth less than a dollar each. I told them that I could pay them a dollar for each box & they said they couldnt do that. It was very uncomfortable because I wanted to save some money by not having to pay for 2 batches of 24. I didnt want the plastic bags because they were going to be gifts, & they told me if I wanted them in boxes I would have to bring my own box. This was a bit ridiculous to me. In the end, because I was pressed for time & my guests were waiting, I bought 48 chocolates, but they didnt let me pay for the 48 chocolates price.
