Chocolats Favoris is described as a cozy, welcoming spot with a wide range of chocolates and ice creams, where product quality and friendly staff are often praised, and many enjoy the ambience, the presentation, and lactose-free options; however experiences vary with reports of long lines, slow or inconsistent service, and occasional order mix ups, plus concerns about cleanliness and some locations charging for water, while others find it worth a visit for treats or gifts.
As others have mentioned, the wait can be quite long so come prepared for that. The store is fun to be in & so much go check out so even if the wait is long, you won't be bored. The baby is tiny teeny, but if you're just wanting a taste it'll do its job. I think next time I'll get a mini for a proper ice cream experience. This time I went with vanilla soft serve dipped dark chocolate with pieces of nuts in the chocolate. 🍦🍫
Other ice cream base offerings were chocolate, raspberry sorbet & maple (seasonal).

We bought a few chocolates to eat another day & a soft icecream dipped in their seasonal valentine's edition the velvet flavor & it was absolutely delicious 😋 ❤?

I ordered a small ice cream with a chocolate dip & the payment terminal suggested 15% tip as the lowest suggestion & I decided not to tip.
I get the feeling that I was served long after because of this since a lot of clients who paid after me were served before me. I guess that's why paying beforehand can have negative effects on service.
I don't think dipping in chocolate warrants 15% tip.
I don't mind paying over price because of the location & the ice cream is good.
But the service really needs to be improved. Really really needs improvement

The disappointing experience happened on Saturday, June 28, around 10 PM, after going to the movies with my son.
We ordered a poutine & a medium ice cream in a cup with dip. From the start, the young man who took our order seemed visibly annoyed, but we chose to overlook that.
When I received my ice cream, it was served in a cone with dip, which was not what I had ordered. I politely mentioned that I had requested it in a cup. The staff member who had prepared it asked me if it bothered me, & I said yes-I don't particularly like cones & much prefer a cup.
She then placed the cone into a cup & handed it to me. I again clarified that I did not want a cone at all. She proceeded to remove the cone, but in doing so, took away half the ice cream, & returned it to me without adding any dip.
At that point, I didn't feel like insisting any further, but as a customer, having to explain myself multiple times & still receiving only part of what I ordered is quite frustrating. This is not the kind of friendly experience one normally associates with Chocolats Favoris.
I wanted to bring this to your attention in the hope that it will help improve customer service in the future.
Ok, this place was good. But to much chocolate, I was in chocolate overload. I got a bowl of ice cream with milk chocolate dip. It had so much chocolate it was difficult to eat. But it was good. So the next night I went back & got a small cone that was 1/2 dipped. MUCH easier to eat & it was great!
A lovely shop for any chocolate enthusiasm. It's beautifully decorated with a strong chocolate flavour in the air. A good variety of chocolate, including chocolate covered marshmallow or any kind of dipped iced cream flavor. Plenty of staff to serve so there's never any lineup. It's more on the pricey side as anyone can expect from a shop right in the middle of Dix30.
Super good, chocolate Sunday tastes like real chocolate not nesquick. Tons of options, including chocolate dipped ice cream cookies. Fast & friendly staff.
Taking one point off because no soap in the washroom. Like not empty, dispenser was removed from wall & no other soap.
