We tried many different cafes in Montreal during our 5 day stay & this was my absolute favourite! Great lattes, extremely friendly service & peaceful & unique ambiance. The croissant was more like a cornetto but it was freshly baked & didn't take away from the experience. Would highly recommend!

Cute lil French cafe with amazing, fresh croissants. The iced coffee is very good & made in a cocktail shaker. Heads up they do not take credit, only cash & debit.
We had a great cafe latte & the best croissants ever. The guys who work there, the music & the entire atmosphere are super cool. A perfect start for your day!
Mon café préféré dans le Vieux-Montréal. L'ambiance, le service, la qualité de la nourriture , tout y est! Sans oublier le latté à l'avoine qui est savoureux !
Fantastic gem in the old port, great coffee & yummy pastries with a hidden terrace in the back perfect to study/work or read a book. The owner is very attentive & upbeat! I highly recommended visiting this lovely café!
We stopped by for brunch & it was so lovely. Smoked meat grilled cheese, scone, croissant & coffee were all delicious. The owner was upbeat & very nice. The cafe is also adorable! Highly recommend this place!
It was a pretty hot day in Montreal, but it was the warmth of Chez Mére Grand that drew me in. This quaint little cafe in Rue Berri had lots of charm, from the branding to the interior decor. The gentleman who served me was so friendly, & he really made my visit nice. Due to the weather I was looking for something chilled, & so he crafted an off-script iced moka that hit the spot. It's too bad I'm only passing through town, because this cafe's quiet charm & warmth would have me coming back time & time again.
What a wonderful cafe!! Truly one of the best-kept secrets in Montreal. A MUST-VISIT!! Roman is the sweetest owner & very happy to help. Everything is made in house & absolutely delicious. Plus - the aesthetic cannot be beat. It is absolutely perfect. I'm transported when I go!!

Super cute cafe with a very friendly owner. Everything on the menu is good, but especially the lavender matcha. Google hours seem to be a bit inaccurate, though.
Cute cafe with the patisseries. We ordered ice matcha with lavender syrup & another one with maple syrup. The lavender one is aromatic. Both are nice but the sense of matcha is not that strong. The croissant with almond cream & apricot jam is so tasty. The outdoor seats are so chill, good for sitting & sipping.
Fantastic cafe on the edge of Old Montreal. Coffee was excellent, & our daughter's hot chocolate was made from scratch. There was a wide selection of pastries, all delicious. The owner (Romain) is friendly & fun. After taking coffees to go the first day, we stayed & enjoyed our coffees in the cafe the second day. The space is comfortable, & there was plenty of room for our group of six.

Such a cute spot that's easy to access. Very clean & a good vibe - small seating areas but comfortable & very quaint. We were warmly greeted & helped when we walked in. The person at the counter took his time with us & made us feel liked valued customers, even though it was our first time in the cafe. The food & drinks were delicious! We had the matcha latte with almond milk & lavender syrup, the croissant sandwich, grilled cheese & the cheddar scone. We also received some of the peach ginger iced tea that was super refreshing. We'd come back & definitely recommend this little spot 🙂
A charming cafe with great food & lovely service. The lavender scone was particularly good. We also got the matcha oat milk latte with lavender syrup which was one of the best matcha lattes I've had in a while. Barista was welcoming & thoughtful & I also love the plates they use.
