Well, what can I say except that I'm hooked on Chez Hailar like a fish on a line! Mohammad, our partner in pizza-crime, deserves a gold medal for his fantastic service - he's practically family now! As for the pizza, calling it Persian-style is just a fancy way of saying it's out-of-this-world delicious. I've tasted a lot of pies in Canada, but Chez Hailar's creations take the crown. You can find very delicious pizzas here, pizzas here are well tailored to iranian taste, I do really suggest this place Very delicious cold sandwiches as well
The food was amazing! Everything we were looking for in a pizza & sandwiches! They had the best saffron tea & ice cream shakes I've ever had!! & above all, the service was SUPERB, thank you Bob!! will deff come again!!!
I just discovered this place lately & now its my favourite place. pizza is mind blowing & staff is very good , nice & speak very polite. I tried "Hailar special pizza" & "Pepperoni Pizza" they are very delicious no lie, I liked the place so much .I recommend everyone to visit ChezHailar.
We had a blast in Hailar! Highly recommended if you're into Persian food(& even if you're not;)) we tried pepperoni pizza & roast beef sandwich & they were both delicious & tasted exactly like the ones we tried in Iran. I bought the cheese pizza, I didn't think they could fail it but they did. Presentation, texture, smell all were fine but then they added some weird sauce in between which ruined the whole experience. Just go anywhere else or don't get the cheese.
A hidden gem near the heart of Montreal. The restaurant is a cozy upstairs spot with window seats. The menu had a range of pizzas (10 or 12 inch) & hot sandwiches. There were both halal & vegetarian options. The veggie pizza was exactly how I like it - thin crust, generous cheese & toppings. The service was excellent. It was friendly & professional. We felt attended to but never intruded upon during our meal. A nice place to warm up on a snowy winter day.
One of the best Persian Pizza & Roast Beef sandwiches all through Canada. I visit Montreal from Calgary & I would suggest this place not to Iranian, but to all people in Montreal.
