I had a great experience from start to finish. The ordering was effortless, & the staff was very polite. We really liked the food & the overall vibe of the place was excellent. I'm planning to come back & try more of their food. I'd recommend this to anyone for a fun evening out.
La Poutine Classique était simplement excellente!! Hot Dog Grillée comme dans mes souvenirs!! La serveuse était sympathique & accueillante! Mon spot préférée après une longue journée de travail. Je recommande cette place 100% Merci pour le bon service :)
Service rapide & très sympathique. Première expérience avec la poutine pour ma part & je n'étais pas déçu. Il faut avoir faim & je recommande la petite assiette (qui est déjà énorme). Ce ne sera pas mon plat préféré mais content d'avoir pu découvrir cette institution ici.

Cependant, le sourire de sa collaboratrice laisse à désirer… On nous avait recommander cet « excellent » restaurant, très réputé à Montréal. Les poutines étaient bonnes, mais nous ne dirions pas excellentes. Bon rapport qualité prix. Encore merci à Victor !!
On nous avait recommandé cette adresse & c'est validé. La poutine champignons & oignons est un délice.
Les portions sont généreuses, la taille'petite' est déjà une belle assiette.
Toute l'authenticité québécoise en une seule adresse.

I had a fantastic experience here; not only was my poutine one of the most flavourful of the 4 I've had in the past 48hrs, it was the service that took this over the top. From the moment we walked in to the time we left, we were greeted & treated as genuine guests. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat. It's places like this that deserve all the money & attention. Save your time & money from those instagram facades & just come here & enjoy some good quality food
The old service lady was very angry & rude, idk why!! They did a mistake with our order & when we asked for the correct order she threw the forks & plate on our table!! Is it normal?!?!? When I asked for a bag to take my leftover with me she said you are supposed to bring your own bag!!!! The food also was not in a good quality, So definitely not a recommended place

Un très bon accueil, un des lieux incontournables pour manger THE poutine! Lieu sans chichi, qui permet de profiter pleinement de la poutine de votre choix, la classique, qui est excellente ou bien d'autres. Je recommande sans hésite
The service from the old lady left a bad taste in my mouth, I couldn't eat my food for a couple hours after I picked it up; I was pissed.
Bring your francophone friend, so they can translate what is being said to you or about you; that old lady is super rude. That being said, the younger blonde lady seemed fairly nice, wish I could have tipped her & the rest of the team well.
My friend assumed it was racism, because apparently the older generation of the population in Quebec are thought to be racist towards indigenous people.
Des amis nous ont recommandé ce petit resto pour la poutine. Sincèrement, très déçu. C'était sans gout. Très lourd. La poutine classique n'avait rien d'exceptionnelle. Nous avons pris les hots dogs grillés c'était très bon mais beaucoup de mal à digérer tout le repas... Je ne recommande pas.

Warm cozy, packed, authentic, place recommended to us by Charlie who works at a fab boulangerie close by. We wanted something tasty & local. Well, it was perfect for two hungry old hippies!
We stopped into Chez Claudette to try their highly recommended poutine. With no shortage of options on the menu, we did our best to navigate it with our limited French since there wasn't an English menu available. We ended up ordering the smoked chicken poutine. While I would've loved to get more adventurous, my partner prefers to stick to the basics. The food was okay. The gravy was flavorful, & the cheese curds had the satisfying squeak you hope for, but the chicken was just average, & the fries were softer & soggier than we would have liked but the prices were reasonable & fair. The atmosphere was reminiscent of a casual pizza or Italian takeout spot, nothing remarkable, but clean enough. Service was average as well
Sans avoir trop faim, nous avons choisi une grande poutine Jardinière à partager à 2 & nous nous sommes régalées ! Service rapide & très sympathique :) Je recommande pour une 1e poutine à Montréal !!!
For me, the Poutine was incredibly good! So I can really recommend this place. Service is ok. Don't expect to much kindness, especially when your not a local😉
