First of all, Lahmacun is not crispy, & too thick. This is the usual issue of Turkish restaurants in Montreal. They still couldn't make a crispy thin Lahmacun. It is like a "Kiymali Pide" but tasty. Make it thinner, crispier, it is possible with pizza ovens, you just need to work on it. Secondly döner. Why you keep it calling it Shawarma in a "Cuisine Turque" restaurant. Looks like you had the döner, tantuni (even innovative Tantuni Iskender) in your old menu, but it is no longer existing. Döner assiette (it was promoted as Swarma) was an average swarma as its best, not bad, & soft, but not good looking. Prices are not cheap, & service was slow. Propapably will not come back unless they figure it out crispy Lahmacun & thinly sliced juicy & tender döner. I have visited more than 6 or 7 Turkish restaurants in Montreal, & have to admit most of them are disappointing. Will keep looking though. Guys, do it the original way please!
This is not a turkish restaurant, that's just another random shawarma place & don't even have döner or turkish food. The sandwiches & sauces are very average. Don't understand the obsession of opening arabic restaurant & name it Turkish!!
The best Turkish food I have ever had. I even got a turkish tea for free. Amazing taste, excellent ingredients.
The food & service were amazing! We were offered a cup of Turkish tea that washed down the food, wonderful experience!
The owner was very nice, friendly & professional also he offered us free Turkish tea which was very generous & nice of him !! I 100% recommend this place
Near Concordia. wide variety of turkish food made to order. Food was ok, service was good. staff is friendly. place is clean. Feels like a knock off of a famous sandwhich place a few blocks down.
I visited this place for the first time, located in the heart of downtown, had a yogurt tantuni plate & a beef dinner sandwich. I enjoyed both but I prefer the yogurt tantuni. The sandwich lacked flavor but that could just be me. I dipped the sandwich into the yogurt sauce from the other plate lol. I then enjoyed it 😊 The Kunefe with vanilla ice cream was a first for me. It was a pleasant surprise, perfect level of sweetness & becomes rich with the ice cream. It was a perfect meal after a long day at work. I would come back for the yogurt tantuni & kunefe but would also try other items. Round 2: I had the beef plate & it was a real treat. The meat was fantastic, the dipping sauce was amazing, & the bread was fresh out of the oven literally. If you want fresh tasty Turkish kebab, this is the place to go to. I'll try other items soon 😋
You cannot go wrong with the spicy chicken sandwich. The sandwich was delicious, the value was great, the seating is comfortable, & the service was excellent. Definitely my new go to spot for my lunch when I'm on campus. I finished my meal with a hot Turkish tea which was the perfect way to end my lunch experience.
Authentic Turkish food. I've eaten at this place several times, & each time the food was amazing. My favourite is the lamb plate! 👍 However, they recently increased their prices, so I'll reduce my rating by one star. The rent in the area & the cost of food don't justify the price increase. Keep the quality high, but don't play with the prices.
The only reason I went there because of hoping I would eat Turkish Food, but it has nothing to do with Turkish food so I don't want you to be disappointed like me. Food was ok, sandwiches bread was delicious but unfortunately I couldn't find I what I was looking for. Please ask customers if they want yogurt in their sandwich or not!!! Just dont put it....
