We were warmly greeted by the very friendly owner, Mr. Mubashir, whose welcoming smile set the tone for a wonderful experience. We ordered Pani Puri, Dahi Puri, & Dahi Bhallay - each dish was fresh, flavorful, & absolutely authentic.
It truly felt like time travel, taking us back to the nostalgic street food experiences we used to enjoy years ago in Sialkot. The prices were very reasonable, & the portions were generous & satisfying.
Whoever is visiting Montreal, just like us, must try Chahat Paani Puri & Paan - an authentic taste of home & hospitality!
The gol gappay were the most authentic I've had in Canada or US.. & the'paani' was exactly how it should be… spicy & flavorful. The paan was the best I tried in Montreal after checking a few other spots. Kadak chai was also very good.
The place is tucked away & not the easiest to find but definitely worth it… so make sure you look hard.
