The decoration at Carlos y Pepe's was amazing. You can tell they really put a lot of effort into the place. Everything is very well kept & the atmosphere makes the experience even better.

For food, we tried the birria tacos & they were delicious, honestly a 10 out of 10. I also ordered the al pastor tacos, but those were not my favorite. They added a spicy mayo sauce that kind of overpowered the flavor of the ingredients. The side rice it tastes like instant rice, not good at all either 😬 It ended up tasting more like a fast-food style taco, which took away from what could have been a really good dish.

The margaritas were delicious & definitely worth ordering. For dessert, I had the fried ice cream. It was good & I'm glad I tried it, but it's probably not something I would order again.

Overall, it was a really good experience. The service was amazing & the atmosphere was great. I would definitely go back

Not impressed with the food. The salsa taste like bbq sauce mixed with tomatoes. The Mexican Enchilas did not have much protein & the tortilla is not right. The vegetables in the Mexican rice tastes like can. The drinks are good & the ambiance is nice. I've been there 4 times because it's convenient if you stay at the HI next door but each time I am totally disappointed with the food.

fun atmosphere. music not too loud. went on a Thursday for lunch & it was not busy. so our service was very good. got a frozen margarita which was pretty good but not very strong. ordered the chicken tostada off their summer menu. the tortillas for the layers got soggy in the middle from the layers of sauce... but honestly it was still really good. friend got fajitas which she really enjoyed. prices a bit high for quality but what isn't expensive these days. Definitely a good restaurant for a good time

We got the burrito & it was lacking flavour. All I could taste was tortilla & beans. Also, we got the caesar salad & the chicken was stone cold & was hard. Almost as if its been sitting in a fridge since the day before. Salad was also missing sauce. There was no sauce. 55$ for only those 2 items. No drink. No app. Expensive

Moi les tortillas était sec mon boeuf était sec est trop cuite ça manquait de sauce. La pâte de haricot ajouter ordinaire & mon riz était pâteux

Well - used to be good - salsa is now a gross tomato sauce!!! Like no chunks at all - tasteless - sorry guys just no good Then came the nachos - yup cold - more tomato sauce Meh - sadly this is a no for me Other items may be better but stay away from nachos!
