Although we have enjoyed this place in the past, our last experience was challenging to say the least It's hard to enjoy a meal when wind on terrace was whipping around 30 km & tacos covered in sauce makes a messy eating experience (my own pov)

Samedi le 30 mai quelle expérience décevante - ça commence avec nos boissons on veut tous une Stella mais il y en a plus - mon mari commande la bavette, frites bien cuites, & notre ami commande une assiette côte levées aussi avec frites - on reçoit nos commandes mais on peut pas manger car la serveuse nous dit on a pas d'ustensiles il faut attendre ils sont dans le lave vaisselle ehh boy boy ordinaire parlons maintenant de la bavette n'était pas une bavette la viande était coriace dur à couper & immangeable il y avait dans l'assiette quelque chose qui était pâteux, crémeux, brun, dégueulasse & qui gouttait amer & les frites bien cuites & bien elles étaient molles, très salées & froides. Les côtes levées maintenant en premier notre ami reçoit son repas mais pas du tout ce qu'il a commandé .. il reçoit ses cotes levées & elles étaient froide. Notre expérience chez Carlos & pépé!, terrible & ça couté $98.31

Margaritas got worst. Super sweet, unbalanced. Expensive. Staff is unfriendly.

2025: Nice food. Okay nachos. Margarita drink was weak (a shame for a Mexican restaurant). Festive atmosphere, nicely decorated. Steak fajitas & soup were good.

Unfriendly waitress (attitude & no smile). But looks like she was tired like some other staff too, which is sad.

We are there a few weekends ago on a Saturday night. The restaurant was slammed, we were a table of 12 with 3 kids & Jaimee didn't miss a beat. She was fun, patient, efficient & didn't mess up any of the orders. We were so happy she was our server & made our 84th birthday celebrations a hit.

We were very disappointed with the portion sizes. The plates appear generous at first, but the amount of meat is surprisingly minimal. The birria nachos had so little meat that we had to look for it, & the fajitas came with a large mound of vegetables-mostly onions-& only about five thin slices of chicken (roughly a quarter of a chicken breast). For the price, it felt quite disappointing & left us feeling shorted. It's unfortunate, because the service & atmosphere are genuinely great.
