We were very disappointed with the portion sizes. The plates appear generous at first, but the amount of meat is surprisingly minimal. The birria nachos had so little meat that we had to look for it, & the fajitas came with a large mound of vegetables-mostly onions-& only about five thin slices of chicken (roughly a quarter of a chicken breast). For the price, it felt quite disappointing & left us feeling shorted. It's unfortunate, because the service & atmosphere are genuinely great.
We are there a few weekends ago on a Saturday night. The restaurant was slammed, we were a table of 12 with 3 kids & Jaimee didn't miss a beat. She was fun, patient, efficient & didn't mess up any of the orders. We were so happy she was our server & made our 84th birthday celebrations a hit.

On est venu manger après ma course hier & tout étais à merveille. Emma était gentille & nous as renseignés sur pleins de choses. Les serveuses étaient tous souriantes.
Amazing restaurant. Good vibe, perfect if you have a date, or with your family. The waitress are really good, especially Audrey Ann. Amazing service, a nice smile, super helpful & beautiful. I am definitely coming back.

We reserved a table for two online were sat & then we waited for 20 minutes with absolutely no service & waitresses were walking by . Obviously we left & won't be returning
Highly not recommended. If you're looking for an authentic or even a decent meal, this isn't it. The quality is bottom-tier & the atmosphere doesn't make up for it. Save yourself the disappointment & find a different spot. But good margaritas.

Went to the Carlos & Pepe's in Blainville, where they had vegan cauliflower tacos. This location doesn't have it. Wish more restaurants around West Island & Vaudreuil would have vegan options for all of the allergy & intolerances out there these days.
The decoration at Carlos y Pepe's was amazing. You can tell they really put a lot of effort into the place. Everything is very well kept & the atmosphere makes the experience even better.
For food, we tried the birria tacos & they were delicious, honestly a 10 out of 10. I also ordered the al pastor tacos, but those were not my favorite. They added a spicy mayo sauce that kind of overpowered the flavor of the ingredients. The side rice it tastes like instant rice, not good at all either 😬 It ended up tasting more like a fast-food style taco, which took away from what could have been a really good dish.
The margaritas were delicious & definitely worth ordering. For dessert, I had the fried ice cream. It was good & I'm glad I tried it, but it's probably not something I would order again.
Overall, it was a really good experience. The service was amazing & the atmosphere was great. I would definitely go back
Friendly greeting at the door with a nice smile by Emma. Served by Aaron who was kind enough to not only properly explain the menu but share her opinion on how to tweak my quesadillas with cheese curds for my next visit. My only suggestion is that they have a larger size quesadilla plate offered as a main course & not just as an entree. Despite that, the plate was still quite filling. Great atmosphere
We were extremely disappointed with our experience. Our reservation was mishandled. We waited over 15 minutes to be seated, & our table was given away because the staff didn't check the names of the party before us until they were being seated in front of us. The hostesses were swearing in front of our party, including children, who were visibly shocked.
The service was slow & inconsistent. From taking drink orders to finally receiving our food, everything took far longer than necessary, even though the restaurant was not busy. One dish was completely different from how it had been described, & when we pointed it out, the server casually said,'Oh yeah, haha, I didn't realize it,' leaving us stuck with a plate no one could eat. No apology was offered, nor was there any attempt to replace the dish. We had to share food from our plates because some items were inedible or incorrect. The only woman at our table was served last every time.
Basic necessities like plates, utensils, & napkins had to be repeatedly requested. Drinks were inconsistent, & mistakes were made when explaining dishes. Overall, the experience fell far below expectations. Every member of our party agreed this would be our last visit.
