I ordered the'smash tacos' from Carlos & Pepe's & I have to ask… who exactly got smashed here? Because it clearly wasn't the tacos.
First of all, these were not tacos. These were depressed little hamburgers wearing tortillas like a loose bathrobe. That's what arrived at my door.
The tortillas were so soggy they had the structural integrity of wet paper towels. I picked one up & it immediately collapsed like it had given up on life.
The meat? Zero seasoning. I've had hospital food with more personality. I've had airplane food with more spice. I've had tap water with more flavor.
& the toppings? I think there were three molecules of lettuce & maybe a shred of cheese that looked like it got lost on the way to another dish.
Meanwhile these things are almost $25 each. Twenty-five dollars! For that price I expected fireworks, a mariachi band, & at least one flavor.
Honestly you could make better tacos with a grocery store taco kit, one eye closed, & a mild concussion.
I don't know who approved this recipe but I would like to speak to them. Not even to yell - just to ask questions. A lot of questions.

Nice restaurant with good food & good service. The decor is beautiful. It's also kid friendly & in summer, the terrace is beautiful, sunny with great music. Overall, a good atmosphere!
Toujours super agréable de visiter cet établissement. seul bémol, la petite équipe de hockey des Bastion de Blainville qui était à côté de nous & qui ne cessaient de se lancer de la glace, des frites & autres condiments... J'aurais souhaité un peu plus de fermeté vis-à-vis de ce comportement de la part de l'établissement mais sinon, c'était excellent!
J'ai célébré mon mariage chez vous & je n'aurais pas pu choisir un meilleur endroit. J'ai passé une soirée inoubliable. Le service était parfait, 20/10.
Jadore allé a ce resto même un des patron vient nous saluer & avoir notre avis..cest simplement trop tout bon ,beau ,propre ,pas cher & service excellent. Mm
Nous avons commandé 3 tacos au poulet, 2 tacos au boeuf & une poutine au chili.
Le poulet dans les tacos n'était pas effiloché comme indiqué au menu, mais plutôt un haut de cuisse presque entier, avec plusieurs morceaux de gras. Cela aurait pu être évité si la viande avait réellement été effilochée.
Le boeuf des tacos était aussi très décevant : le goût & la texture n'étaient pas du tout ce à quoi on s'attend. Ça ressemblait davantage à un pâté de boeuf qu'à une viande à tacos.
Quant à la poutine, elle était sèche & froide, & le fromage n'était clairement pas frais.
Dans l'ensemble, une expérience très décevante. Nous n'y retournerons pas.
Mais c'est quoi cette supposé
salsa ? C'est carrément de la pâte tomate! Les chips qui en réalité sont des fajitas cuit ! Mon conjoint à demandé asssiete natcho boeuf gratiné...vraiment peu de tout !! & encore une fois la même soit disant salsa...moi j'ai pris faijita cecrette,un 5/10 bcp d'oignon
Je préfère les 3 Amigos sans hésiter!

Mais la serveuse services 10/10 bon travail !
Nourriture très bonne & excellent service de la part de Jonathan. Il a fait un heureux en laissant repartir mon copain avec un verre de bière à se demande 😂 nous recommandons!
