J'ai été pour la première fois chez Caifan Mtl mardi le 9 avril 2024, en fin de soirée. Mon expérience fût impeccable. Dès notre arrivée, mon copain & moi avons été accueillis chaleureusement par un de leurs employés. Nous avons ensuite eu l'immense bonheur d'être servi par Quentin. J'ai rarement reçu un service aussi complet & minutieux. Les connaissances de Quentin concernant les mets offerts ainsi que les magnifiques cocktails disponibles étaient impressionnantes. Il a su nous guider à travers les nombreuses options alléchantes, ce qui nous a aidé à choisir l'option parfaite pour nous. Un serveur sympathique, courtois, intelligent & toujours un coup d'avance sur les demandes de ses clients. Pour ce qui est de la nourriture, nous avons partagé la Torito de Chorizo, ainsi qu'une assiette de Costra cochinita (un genre de tacos déconstruit). Tout fût délicieux & beau visuellement. Leurs cocktails sont aussi bien équilibrés, surprenants & délicieux. J'y retournerai sans faute & recommande l'expérience à qui que ce soit ayant envie d'une expérience chic-décontractée ainsi que gastronomique. 10/10View more

This is overall not a good value. 3 Pastor tacos for 18$. Pork belly entry with 4 small pieces for 17$. Everything was good, not amazing. Tacos are supposed to be cheap & delicious street food. Then, charging 8$ for hot sauces felt again like we are trying to squeeze to the maximum the customers' lemon. Mocktails were 13$, & the less expensive cocktail at 16$? Yeah, we stayed with water thank you. I understand there is inflation & restaurant is a difficult business to operate, but this value proposition is off for anyone who already knows Mexican food.View more
First of all I was disappointed as I had the fish tacos, & the batter was soft & warm instead of crunchy & hot, which took me totally by surprise. Los tacos puedo decir que están muy ricos, muy buen sabor y los cocktails bastante buenos ! Se me hace un abuso que cobren la salsa para los tacos, eso jamás se ve en 🇲🇽. Y aunque es diferente país siento que eso es algo básico para los tacos. El servicio del mesero Arturo muy malo, nos tomó la orden casi 50 minutos después de que llegamos y cuando íbamos a pedir postre nos dice que la mesa la tenemos por 20 minutos más que había otra reserva llegando, osea que ni pude pedir postre !!! Great New Mexican spot in the Plateau. Service was very memorable because it was extremely fast! Also, make sure you listen to the waiters when they say it's tapas & the portions are small. 2 people can easily finish 4 dishes. Since the restaurant is only 3 weeks old, I'm sure there will be some changes to the menu - I'm really hoping they substitute the tortillas for tortilla chips for their salsa platter & maybe even adding a guacamole to the menu. Highly recommend going here on a date or with friends, they have great cocktails too!View more
