Finally tried this cafe! Luckily we didn't wait too long as the weather was a bit gloomy. Waited for about it 25 ~ minutes wasn't bad.
Ordered the grilled cheese & tomato soup which was excellent, chicken sandwich was also great. We shared the pancake with strawberries - Honestly, it wad good but not as amazing as i expected it to be.
Pancakes are good but for 20$ it's way tooo expensive. 5$ to add fruit on top. The hostess/waitress was rude & unwelcoming. The wait times are over an hour with no separate take out line. Fend for yourself seating after you pay, which was awkward considering they don't request people to leave who are clearly just taking up space (while the line is around the corner). Maybe the juice is worth the squeeze on a weekday but definitely not a weekend.
Made me miss an appointment with their lack of organization.
Meilleur grilled cheese de notre vie & pancakes délicieux également 😋
Not really my type of place to eat out - it's always busy (& very loud) & there's usually a huge line. But I followed a recommendation to try the pancakes, & they were super tasty. I also had a soup with grilled cheese & it was great as well
There was a long line when my friends & I arrived so we immediately knew we chose a good spot to have brunch! We ordered iced chai, iced matcha, hot latte & cold brew for drinks & tomato soup & grilled cheese, chia yogurt bowl, pancakes & avocado toast & the food was 10/10, sooooo delicious!!! We enjoyed it all & understand the hype. The only complaint was the way the ordering of the food & finding the table process is set up, it's quite unorganized & all over the place.
The pancakes, soup & the burger were all delicious, & definitely worth the wait.
We went on a Sunday noon, & it was about an hour before being seated.
Food was very tasty, I ordered the pancakes & my husband ordered the tomato soup. We throughly enjoyed. The place however is tight, & seating is very limited with the demand. You are sitting elbow to elbow. It was fairly noisy but nothing extreme. Would come back. Although make sure you have your pockets ready because it is not the cheapest place.
I live around the corner & walk past September cafe multiple times a day. Today, alas, my girlfriend & I decided to give them a try. Overall, our takeaway was that this place was way overhyped & too expensive. The food was decent, but between the long line, limited menu, chaotic atmosphere inside, & paying $91 for a toast, burger, pancakes, & a coffee I will not be returning again. Solid cafe at best that somehow got way overhyped & people will go because there's a line.
