Première visite mais sûrement pas la dernière! Le général Tao est juste spectaculaire! & à 19,95$, c'est une solide aubaine!! Une très gentille serveuse en amène même un échantillon en amuse-bouche gratuit à tous les clients dès qu'on s'asseoit. D'ailleurs, tout le personnel est d'une douce amabilité, chaque client est choyé! Aussi, si vous aimez la bouffe épicée (comme mes amis), vous serez agréablement surpris par la qualité des plats! Ils ont adoré! Alors, quand vous rentrerez, ne vous laissez pas impressionner par le décor un peu terne & allez-y, vous ne le regretterez pas! Un bijou culinaire! 🧡💚💛
Je n'avais pas mis les pieds au Café Saigon depuis 4 ans, soit depuis la fin de la pandémie. C'était mon resto asiatique préféré. Ce soir, je n'ai pas retrouvé la qualité d'antan dans mon General Tao. La portion a diminué d'au moins un tiers. Presque pas de poulet & surtout de la viande brune. La panure était très salée. Par contre, la sauce légendaire était au rendez-vous. On me dit que c'est toujours le même propriétaire mais j'en doute. La serveuse était hyper sympathique & empressée. Pour ce qui est du décor, il aurait besoin d'un peu d'amour.
Beau petit resto très bon services personnels accueillant mon repas était délicieux beau menu du dîner mais le soir menus plus variés je recommande ça vaut la peine & bon prix jla j'au souper plus de choix pour le souper nourriture délicieuse belle ambiance beaucoup de monde il faut venir cela vaut le déplacement sauf difficile de stationnée
Honestly one of the best hidden gems I have overlooked for a long time. Our waitress was excellent explaining options, fast delivery, & even helped with my french (a rare courtesy for a service worker anywhere in Montreal).
Food was epically good. Seems all sauces, including their soya, are made in house. I've never had sauce like this - thick & rich, almost like a creamy oil consistency - not watery at all. The spring roll was one of the best I've ever had. The Pad Thai was equally to die for & the price was amazing. Chicken seasoned really well & fried perfectly. 10/10 & I will be back. I was shocked the place wasn't packed.
Jolie pièce, service sympathique même si assez pressant mais surtout cuisine pas ouf.
La qualité, la quantité & la présentation ne suivent pas le prix ni même l'intérêt d'aller au restaurant, il est facile de faire aussi bien sinon mieux à la maison. La carte est aussi approximative, Les seuls dumplings proposés sont frits alors que ce n'est pas indiquée sur la carte par exemple.
