Overall, reviews describe Café Rì Yuè as a tiny, very cute and cozy spot with a charming vibe that can feel crowded and loud on busy days, making seating a common challenge but rewarding when a table opens. The menu earns praise for creative drinks and desserts, especially matcha and hojicha lattes, yuzu cheesecake, ube basque cheesecake, tiramisu, and oversized macarons, with some items such as the shortcake or the white chocolate latte receiving mixed notes. Prices are often mentioned as a bit high for the portion size, and a few guests report slow service or limited seating, though staff are repeatedly described as friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Location near Place des Arts adds convenience, and visitors frequently recommend ordering a slice of cake to go or bringing friends to enjoy the colorful pastries and decorative, light filled space.
The owners are very picky about what they serve on their menu, which honestly makes everything on the menu the best of it's version. The macarons & cakes are baked fresh every single morning, everything is so cute & really good.
10/10, highly recommend if you looking for a cozy café with amazing pastries.
Photos @ venir. Allez les encourager. Merci pour le bel accueil & service. Au plaisir, Missy A.

Always my favorite place to go to☺? super sweet & lovely staff, amazing quality of food & drinks. The prices are very reasonable considering all their cakes & macarons are made there, & not just bought & refrigerated. The coffee & matcha they use is also super good quality, never a disappointment. Not to mention, their menu is creative, & changes with the seasons. I love trying everything new they get in stock. It gets super busy which is understandable considering the good service they provide, but it can be difficult to find a table during peak hours. I'll always recommend this place!
☺?
I really liked their drinks & some pastries & cakes. They have big macarons! which are so cute… place is just a bit small & it gets crowded on busy days
One of my favourite cafes in Montreal! My go to is the matcha strawberry cake & hojicha latte. Their macarons are super unique as well! It is sometimes quite hard to get a seat as this place is very popular.
This super cute coffee shop is right next to place des arts métro. They make amazing coffee & even better desserts!
.
One thing not to miss are their giant macarons!
.
I got the basque cheesecake, mushroom focaccia, & a white chocolate matcha latte!

I love their matcha strawberry chiffon cake. Very light, fluffy, & huge, is worth it for the price. Macarons are cute! Me & my friends love going back for their cakes.

The food was amazing !! The macarons were about 4$ each but they are HUGE. They taste SO amazing. Soft yet firm (so it doesnt fall appart in your hands). The croissant was also amazing. The drinks were very tasty.
I tried their tomyum foccacia (so good!!) & matcha macaron (8/10).
I think their tomyum foccacia could be more flavored throughout more, but overall it was unique & I could really taste the tomyum! Though I didn't expect it would be good, but wow it was a strangely good combination!
Their macaron was a bit too'fat' for me😆 the filling is a bit too big to chew😅 but the macaron crust itself was excellent. I tried their matcha macaron.
