Before reaching why I gave them 2 star, let's talk about what was good.
To be fare, their coffee taste was very good. I also took 2 pastries, both were perfect & delicious. So, nothing is wrong about what they have.
The issue is there is a sign on the door that says don't bring your dogs inside.
I'm afraid of dogs, & more than that, I don't like to have animals in the restaurant & coffee shops were I'm eating.
But during the time I was there, several people with dogs (including very big one) come & go & I should change my seat several times to avoid those dogs jump on me
The employees did not care when I showed my sadness about this issue.
So either remove that sign from the door (which was the reason I selected this coffee shop to go inside) or if you have that sign, respect it yourself.Voir plus

Classic Montreal coffee.
Service was great but parking is not free (next door is Metro only parking) & inside the location, it is pretty crowded due to its popularity.
Still enjoyed my drink (I got the Remix) but it is quite expensive ($8) for such a small cup…Voir plus

The moment I was walking by the place, I new it has great food because of how many visitors there were (imho, & this is not typical for non-city-center non-franchise). Great coffee, food, interiér. It's a petty that the tips are asked before you get food service, because the barista was doing a great job to make sure clients come back here :)Voir plus

The two guys working there were incredibly helpful & kind, making me feel genuinely welcome. A lovely lady suggested that I try a'remix' This is how she named it I think, & one of the guys recommended to us a cheesecake with apple-both were absolutely delicious! A good local café that i found around this neighbourhood after i went to the park. It's also near the metro Vendome & it's also the same café as the one in the Old Port. The latte also tastes good & the architecture is a combination between the old & new style. The barista is also friendly & it makes this café feel nice to hang out.Voir plus

I usually go to the one at the old port, so it was my fist time at the westmount one. & the service was just as great , the quality of the products was super fresh. Their coffee & their apple caramel cheesecake, their tiramisu as well was 🤩🤩 delicious . Definitely still in my top 5 coffee place🤗Voir plus
