It was a forty minute walk from where I was staying, & I came here four times. Very relaxed. Lots of locals. Great outdoor area for relaxing in the sun or people watching. Coffee was really good, & the staff has that familiar vibe with just about everyone. It's like they're your cousins, but you're not sure how or from what side of the family. Will always come back when I visit Montreal. Helps that St. Viatuer bagel is right around the corner.
This Christmas season, Café Olimpico in Montreal was my perfect winter escape. With its festive decorations & cozy atmosphere, it's a place where the chill of the city melts away with every sip. Their famous espresso drinks hit the spot-rich, bold, & expertly crafted-perfect for those cold winter days. Whether you're catching up with friends or just people-watching, this Mile End gem brings comfort & character all year round. From the friendly service to the holiday cheer in the air, Café Olimpico feels like a festive hug in the heart of Montreal. It's a local favorite that captures the essence of the season: warm, inviting, & full of good vibes. If you're in Montreal during Christmas, don't miss this cozy corner-where every cup feels like a little celebration.
The Olimpico Café is a vibrant spot with an amazing vibe that instantly lifts your mood. The atmosphere is lively yet cozy, making it a perfect place to relax or catch up with friends. The staff is friendly, the service is great, & the overall energy of the place is infectious. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a place with good vibes & a welcoming ambiance!
This place is peak Montreal in the best way possible. Where else can you sip a perfect espresso surrounded by a mix of effortlessly cool hipsters & Mediterranean regulars arguing passionately about God-knows-what? It's got that rare balance of trendy & authentic that makes it feel like a true neighborhood institution. The coffee? Always on point-no frills, just damn good. The vibe? Like your cool friend's living room, if your cool friend was perpetually caffeinated & had a knack for cultivating great people-watching moments. Outdoor seating is prime real estate in warmer weather, & the staff keeps it all running like clockwork, even when the line is out the door. If you're in Montreal & not grabbing a coffee here, are you even doing it right?
Certainly one of the locals favorites cafe, always crowded & has a nice vibe. People simply love to hang out around, chit chat or enjoy the afternoon sun. Italian best coffee & desserts. There's often long lineup to order but it's worth the wait. Beautiful terrace outside & TVs inside streaming sports events. Always have a good time at Olimpico!
Stunning place! The pastries are delicious & the vibe is great for working or just chatting.
Number 1 coffee spot! Ethnic chic ambience unlike everything is town which is just blant rustic repeated decor & vibes. Btw- excellent coffee
On the last day of my vacation day, I've decided to visit Mile End, a local neighborhood located near Mont Royal of Montreal. It has a pretty suburban vibe with many local cafes. I stumble upon Cafe Olimpico (a hidden gem), & it has some of the best Tiramisu & coffee in Montreal. The cappuccino, cortado, & iced latte are bold, yet smooth (& refreshing when served cold). The sandwich is also amazing with its freshly sliced ham & baked sandwich.
Always such a pleasant experience. One of the best cold coffees in the city! Great vibe too.
Café Olimpico remains one of the best cafes in Montreal. Their coffee is really good. If you are a first timer you should try out the cannolis if they are available. This particular location in my opinion serves the best coffee, but it's always busy. The place has a vibe of its own.
We went to Quebec on vacation recently (from the US) & absolutely loved the way it felt like we were on a different continent. This place really exemplified that vibe - it felt very European! They only serve espresso, no American-style drip coffee. Delicious espressos & Americanos & best atmosphere of any coffee shop we visited in Quebec!
I loved the esthetic of the café & the vibes during a football match. They have a variety of desserts & would go great with whichever coffee you choose to get. I've tried their freddo latte, it was great. I'm planning on going back to try other coffee options on their menu.
Our forever coffe spot specially in Ramadan the vibe here is very good the service is excellent the coffe is delicious
i used to go to other italian coffee places but this one is gonna be my favorite one for now. the service is so good, their espresso so yummy & the staff, they do a great job. its kinda packed sometimes, depending the day or the time you go there but, it's worth the visit for a single espresso or some tiramisu. the ambience is so nice, as they play old school songs. you feel like back in the 80s, some italian 80s vibes lol.
BEST coffee in Montreal, period Highly recommend the remix & affogato It's busy but line move very quickly, consistent, love the vibe in there
The cannoli was bite size compared to the images provided on the google account. Vibes were immaculate. The queue to get coffee was long, but the service was extremely quick! The workers knew what they were doing.
