We came twice in one day - once at 10 AM & again at 3 PM. & there was always a queue. It's definitely a popular spot!

My Favorite:
- Cappuccino: The foam on top pairs well with the coffee. This was my favorite coffee of my entire Montreal trip!

Nice to Try:
- Tiramisu: They soak it with maple syrup. Personally, I thought it was an interesting local twist, but it was a bit too sweet for my taste. I still prefer the traditional version.
- Affogato: We paired it with pistachio gelato. It was also a little too sweet for me, but it was wonderfully rich & creamy!

Overall, it's a great place to just come, relax, & enjoy the city with a really good coffee.

Café Olimpico on Rue Saint Viateur in Mile End is one of the most unique coffee spots in Montréal with such a strong authentic Italian vibe & energy. Brought out of town guests to try what many consider the city's best & it absolutely did not disappoint. The affogato, côrtado, cappuccino, lemon sorbet granita & tiramisu were all outstanding. Every single thing we ordered was delicious.
The place was packed & we were lucky to grab seats indoors, which only added to the lively atmosphere. TVs were playing the Grand Prix & the whole café was buzzing. The staff serving us were super friendly & welcoming the entire time. Easily one of the best spots in the city for coffee, desserts & people watching. ☕🇮🇹🍋🍨🏁✨

Cannoli very good. Croissant with nutella Amazing. Cappuccino so close but I prefer a fluffier milk on top, as you can see it was flat. But all in all a very nice experience. I was there on a sunday afternoon. It was packed & I waited in line but worth it. Fun place to people watch.

Great vibe! Very urban cafe. The espresso is excellent albeit the cup size is quite small. We ordered mocha & cappuccino, both were very good but you finish the drinks fairly quickly. The heavenly taste cookie was excellent too

We ordered a cortado & cappuccino, both of which were nicely prepared. The coffee itself is a safe bean, not having a strong flavour profile (i.e. minimal chcolate, no flaural notes).

The place is popular to the point of bursting & unfortunately how far from downtown it is made it not worth the trek. Seating is at a serious premium & other patrons were rather rude about the whole thing, with people scooping up tables or holding them for who knows what reason or arguing over who was waiting for what.

Café Olimpico is an absolute gem. The staff are incredibly warm & welcoming, creating an atmosphere that feels both familiar & full of character. The coffee is the real star here-authentic Italian quality, rich & perfectly balanced, just the way it should be. Whether you're grabbing an espresso at the bar or settling in with a cappuccino, every cup feels like a little trip to Italy. Highly recommend! ☕🇮🇹
