Afficher toutcoffee(244) cafe(194) vibe(49) italian(35) tiramisu(34) dessert(29) latte(27) cappuccino(26) recommend(25) espresso(24) busy(23) shop(22)Stumbled upon Cafe Olimpico last Saturday morning & honestly it's become my new favorite weekend ritual in the city. The espresso they pulled was genuinely one of the best I've had in Montreal - rich & perfectly balanced without being bitter. The space has this old-school Italian coffee bar vibe that feels completely unpretentious, just locals hanging out & reading the paper. If you haven't made it out to Mile End yet, this place alone is worth the trip.
The coffee was not what I was expecting. Not your typical ice coffee shop that carries standard drinks. The ice is crushed so it's more grainy. Kind of mid
Classic spot that never disappoints. The coffee is rich, smooth, & exactly what you want from a proper Italian-style café.
The real star for me though: the gelato. Pistachio & hazelnut are to die for! Insanely creamy, full of flavor, & not overly sweet. You can actually taste the quality ingredients.
Perfect combo of a great coffee + indulgent dessert. Simple, authentic, & done right.
YVR Canadian foodie here. Now this is exactly what I imagine when it comes to an old school Italian cafe, truly capturing the essence of a timeless charm. Simply get an amazing cup of coffee to pair with the cannoli. I think they have one of the best cannoli in Montreal.
Incredible & flavourful coffee, with quick, excellent customer service. It was a nice spot, with authentic decor. However, you may be waiting a while for a table, as it is a popular spot- especially on a cold day when everyone is indoors. It would be nice if they would limit the amount of laptops/iPad users inside the cafe. Other than that, definitely stop when in Montreal.
I wish I had more time to spend in the place. The coffee was on point & as it should be.
GET THE CREMMAAA!!
i had the remix coffee & it was definitely worth the hype. i didn't expect it to be as good as everyone was saying but it for sure exceeded my expectations. i had it in the bottled option cause im a bit late to the trend cause im having it in the winter & they mentioned that the clear cups weren't available rn. but i think it made my pictures look better tbh. but yeah it was a perfect mix of creamy sweet & bitter & if i had this cafe near me id come here almost everyday but i think its a good thing its not so i get to save money.😅🤣i will say its a bit overpriced i think i paid about 10 ish dollars? maybe 11 if i round it up. its not exactly worth it for the price but its definitely worth trying if you haven't. if you can afford it than i wouldn't recommend getting anything else if you like drinking your coffee cold. it's different from the regular iced coffee & most blended drinks are usually wayyyyyyyy too sweet but this one is just right. i was planning on sitting in the shop a bit but there werent any spots. it was too crowded & there was a funky vibe but the barista who took my order was pretty nice & fast too so i didn't have to wait too long in there thankfully.
This is a very lively place, very busy & long line ups.

Cafe Olimpico -Mile End
WOW 5 stars, chefs kiss.
I've visited the Olimpico in Westmount many times & am very familiar with the hospitality of the staff there (outstanding) & this being the second location I've visited- Olimpico as a chain is warm, professional, & friendly across the board!!
Specifically Alex & Claudio- even on an astoundingly busy Sunday rush, their attentiveness & attention to detail is revelling. Not bogged down by the rush & unwavering'pep' in their step.
Other cafes pale in comparison, although busy their demeanor could put an ornery businessman at ease!
A bustling atmosphere & smiles coming in & out of this place. They greet you like family- in a true Italian style with added expertise & poise.
AMAZING coffee & treats that make it hard for me not to buy all of their pastries lol.
Places like this radiate the essence of community & are the heart of Montreal in my opinion.
Just wish I lived closer!!
Olympics themed if the name didn't give it away. Coffee was good & interior decor was nice.
Always full Coffee is very good & always full of people very busy & popular spot in the Mile end.
We ordered a cortado & cappuccino, both of which were nicely prepared. The coffee itself is a safe bean, not having a strong flavour profile (i.e. minimal chcolate, no flaural notes).
The place is popular to the point of bursting & unfortunately how far from downtown it is made it not worth the trek. Seating is at a serious premium & other patrons were rather rude about the whole thing, with people scooping up tables or holding them for who knows what reason or arguing over who was waiting for what.
Café Olimpico in the Mile End is a legendary institution for a reason. Their old-school espresso is consistently perfect-strong, smooth, & authentic. The atmosphere captures that classic Italian café vibe perfectly, making it the best spot to grab a coffee & soak in the local energy. In the summer, their outdoor terrace is the place to be, offering a great space to relax & enjoy the neighborhood. It is a must-visit for any coffee purist.
