Afficher toutcoffee(285) cafe(123) barista(42) recommend(33) shop(29) latte(27) pastries(25) cozy(24) vibe(23) tiramisu(22) pistachio(22) downtown(21)The coffee is so delicious (we ordered mocha). The barista is friendly & welcoming. The place is small, has a few tables so it's more suitable for take-out. Our experience is pleasant most of the time. However, the cahier is not up to par -- mistakes on invoicing & automatically charge of a 18% tips on the machine for take-out orders without giving customers a choice to decide how much they want to tip (keep in mind this is about takeout orders). We happened to notice this problem because we got paper invoice this time, otherwise we won't be aware because we just simply tap the machine. We will still support the shop but this tipping practice is annoying because they are not transparent to customers.
I ordered an iced americano & chocolate chip banana bread & my girlfriend ordered the latte freddo & a nutella pastry (not entirely sure what this was). While we were eating, they brought out the cannolis & these are definitely a must try!
The cafe was quite snug but we were able to find a table & enjoy our breakfast inside the shop
This is a great little coffee shop with delicious pastries & excellent coffee.
I've been to the Mile End location of this cafe, but I was downtown so I thought I'd check out this location. It was slightly underground & a little smaller, but very quaint. I ordered the Latte Freddo iced & it was a very delicious & smooth iced coffee. Whenever I'm in Montreal I do make it a point to visit this place as it is one of my favorite coffee shops in the city! They also sell Italian pastries which I have tried before at the other location. Also very good! There's a reason there's several locations of this place, it means they are doing well. Highly recommend for good coffee in Montreal!
I love this place. The vibe is great but most importantly the coffee & food is exceptional. I saw Justin this morning who was working today at the Robert Bourassa shop. He always has a smile on his face & generally wants to know how you are doing. So pleasant & do I have to tell you that the coffee is out of this world!! Thank you Justin for making my mornings so pleasant & thank you Cafe Olympico. This is truly a gem of a place here in Montreal. Esther :-)
I had been planning to visit Café Olimpico but stayed busy for a while. I found out they opened a new branch on Saint Catherine, so I finally dropped by. The place is small, perfect for a quick takeout coffee. The Filipino barista deserves a shoutout. He was friendly & welcoming. I ordered the hot chocolate, & it tasted amazing. Rich & smooth, & different from other coffee shops I've tried. Definitely comeback!
Very authentic Italian Coffee shop with amazing pastries. Justin & Nelson are great at what they do & will be sure to leave you with a smile on your face. The Pistachio Croissant was the best I have ever had & they gave us a complimentary taste of their signature espresso ice cream treat.
A montreal classic. Tiny shop, only meant for take out coffees. Almost always a line but it goes by quick. I like their remix a lot (a layered mix of cold espresso, caffe crema soft-serve, with hot frothed milk & chocolate). I recommend it to anyone who likes a nice sweet but not too sweet coffee treat in the summer.
The affogato also isn't bad, just a bit too much ice cream for me. Their mocha is one of the best.
Wish the coffee was better!
Sadly, the coffee just wasn't good. I was really excited to try it after visiting three different shops during my work trip, but the latte was poorly made. Instead of using a slow, circular pour to incorporate the milk properly, the barista just dumped it in all at once. The result was a very bitter drink. I tried to finish it but ended up having to throw it away. The vibe was nice, but the coffee & the long line just weren't worth it. I'm not sure if they had token their time with the latte it could have been better, but I wouldn't go back. The good thing is there are plenty of other options in the area.
We had an excellent experience at this coffee shop - the espresso was rich, smooth, & expertly made, & the overall coffee quality was top-notch. The staff were professional & the atmosphere was welcoming within the café itself.
Unfortunately, outside of this space, our experience in Montreal was overshadowed by instances of racism, which deeply impacted our overall impression of the city. While the coffee shop offered a brief & much-needed positive moment, the broader social climate left us feeling disappointed & disheartened.
Great coffee, but a tough visit overall.
Not a specialty coffee place. Neighbourhood coffee shop sure. Their 3rd wave profile told me they had September Roaster, not a chance.
Cute little coffee shop. The crew looks nice & friendly, the place is small but so alive.
Great coffee shop in the heart of Montreal. Had a chance to check this place in the evening & it was packed! Ordered the pistachio ice cream & mochaccino (double espresso). Let's start with the ice cream - rich, creamy & with a light taste of pistachio (which I appreciated). The mochaccino packed a punch with the espresso & was great. Overall, definitely check them out. Staff is great & worth a visit!
Great coffee, great pastries, & great service. The barista - Justin - was friendly & offered suggestions of places to go during our stay in Montreal. Very pleased to have found this coffee shop!
I loooove the coffee & the desserts!!! My favourite ☕️ shop in Montreal! ❤️
This coffee shop is truly amazing, with a very beautiful & warm atmosphere. I absolutely loved the coffee-it really stood out. I strongly recommend this place to everyone who appreciates a great cup of coffee in a delightful setting. Don't miss out on this gem! 😍😍😍
This coffee shop welcomed us, three groomsmen, who have been up since the crack of dawn, shwasted on every ounce of poison on this (hopefully) undying green earth. The party bus stopped, the doors hissed open. & at the door were JUSTIN & SPENCER welcomed us with good cheer. Their spirit brought ours back up from the slums of borderline alcoholism. Three perfectly chilled, remixes were served. Not only did we leave with Montreals best coffees, but we left with with our hearts pumping of caffein & JUSTIN & SPENCERS' spirit. Much love, from the three groomsmen who came in on a rainy saturday afternoon.
My favorite coffee shop in Canada! I hope they're planning to expand to Ottawa ❤️🇨🇦
