It's small & crowded but still very friendly. As of now (July 2024) they're sourcing coffee from Balance Torréfacteur, which I've discovered is a superb roaster & it's local (to Montreal). I got a cortado, & it was perfection. Taste, body, temperature, proper volume too. It doesn't get better.
i absolutely adore this cafe. so cute, good coffee & amazing croissants. i think it was the largest croissant I've eaten that was actually good. it's in the perfect area close to campus & entering on the plateau. come here for your morning pastry & coffee before walking around the plateau or to mount royal on the weekends. can also work from here on week days being that it's close to campus.
The barista with dark hair & glasses has an attitude problem. She was rude. I have never seen a barista treat her customers this way. They usually are friendly & simley. Bummer the place has good coffee but her hostile attitude is a turn off
Since moving to the Plateau, this has become my favourite go to place for coffee. I usually come in with my dog & sometimes several times a day to grab a coffee & one of their delicious pastries. I'm always greeted with a smile & feel at home everytime I come. Such a great staff (past & present) but don't know everyone by name to give them the praise they deserve, shout out to Frank & Teomi for being there since I first started coming & always happy to see me & my little dog. Keep up the great work Andre & your great team. 🙏 Hopefully I can convince you to open where I'll be moving lol
The best coffee experience in Montreal. I was not so much into prior I discovered this hidden gem. Their pastries are out of this world & the staff are the best!!!! Shout-out to Frank for always being in such a great mood
Great coffee, used to offer the best baked goods but for a while now it's lower than average. Service hit or miss depending on server.
This place completely changed my coffee standards. I wish I still lived nearby so I could go as often as I used to. Best coffee shop in town. The flat whites & cortados are something out of this world. Also, the cardamom rolls will always hold a special place in my heart.
beautiful cafe! great quality coffee & a very sunny & well designed ambiance. good for studying or just hanging out!
Coffee is decent, but the space is incredibly crowded. It might be because I'm only ever getting coffee during peak hours when students have filled the place, & that's why it feels uncomfortably crowded, but otherwise it's nice. The rewards for regular customers is a nice touch too.
Although is well designed, place is very cold. Furthermore, coffee is mediocre & barista is rude. Not recommended.
Knowledable staff on coffees & neighborhood. Great selection styles of coffees & desserts. Could sit here all afternoon. I could sit here & shove my face with croissants! Hah!
Best cafe in Montreal. I love their coffee & baked goods. The staff are all friendly & welcoming.
Great coffee, great pastries. Gets a little cold in the winter but really nice to study at!
Really good coffee. Very busy study spot but all around good vibes. Go early to get a seat :) The scones are 12/10!! Chai latte really sweet but I like it. The mochas are very good!
The coffee is delicious & the service is fast & pleasant. I recommend their scones as well ! Coffee shop tends to be packed with students on their laptops so maybe not the greatest spot to go catch up with a friend. But great to grab & go! (Or study if you're a student ;) )
