Je m'ennuie de l'époque où les cafés étaient faits pour jaser & socialiser. Ici, une affiche interdit les ordinateurs sur une partie des tables la fin de semaine, mais on ne fait même pas respecter cette consigne simple. Résultat, on a l'impression d'être dans une bibliothèque universitaire. Ça nuit franchement à l'ambiance. Dommage car sinon, le café est bon.

I'm not sure why this has a 4.6. Unfriendly & slow service (I'm a French speaker, so that was not it), $9 for an overbaked scone & the high chairs are made for you to leave quickly. It looks cute, & they have a chess board. That's about it. There's much better cafes around.

Excellent cafe with a nice, lively atmosphere! Got a flat white which was awesome. Despite only one barista working at the time of visiting, the service was pretty good.
Bon café mais tres mauvais service , pas de bonjour pas de sourire & mon café pris pour emporter sans couvercle . Il quitte tellement rapidement le comptoire que je n'ai meme pas le temps de demander pourquoi . L'ambiance calme & cozy , beau decor mais encore une fois très mauvaise reception du client je ne retournerais plus jamais .
This used to be one of my favorite cafés in the area, great coffee & consistently good baked goods. Coming here was truly a highlight of my day. Unfortunately, I've decided not to return because of repeated negative experiences with one particular barista. I won't name anyone, but I'm confident other regulars will know who I'm referring to.
For almost eight months, I've been met with consistent rudeness: no greeting, no smile, no acknowledgment when I speak, & no indication when my order is ready. What's more upsetting is that this behavior doesn't seem to extend to everyone. It feels selective. I've always been polite & tipped, but I've never received even the smallest gesture of courtesy in return. I gave it time, hoping things would change, but she never did. It's unfortunate because the coffee really is excellent. But no coffee is worth starting my day feeling unwelcome.
Charmant petit café chaleureux avec une jolie terrasse intime. Le café y est excellent & le service attentionné. Une belle adresse à découvrir absolument.
Have been a regular here for many years, staff are friendly, kind & always make great coffee. I am always happy to spend a day working from home at this cafe & during my school years would study often from this cafe! The manager has quality in mind & the team are all absolutely lovely!

Café Nocturne is multifaceted - it can be a space for studying & deep immersion in your own work; for laughing & catching up with friends; for simply leaning back & enjoying a nice cup of coffee or tea. The scones are an absolute must-try at this café, & the Sunday pancakes are the best I've had. The staff at Nocturne are kind & prone to laughter & quickly whip up your order. Best coffee in town.
