Stumbled upon this cafe as I was heading to my destination. Thought nothing of it & had no expectations but when entering, I immediately enjoyed the chill & vibrant atmosphere. I ordered an iced mocha made with 10%, my usual go-to during the summer. The drink was done in about 4 minutes, I kid you not, it was THAT good. It wasn't too sweet, not overly chocolatey, & the espresso beans perfectly complimented the drink; literally everything was at the right ratio. I had to go back to let the barista know & also purchased a bag of the beans they had used. If ever I go back to Montréal, I will definitely be coming back to café léo.

1-year post-review visit: went back Aug 6 for the same iced drink I bought in my original review, I was genuinely excited (I even purchased a different bag of beans to bring back home) until: a) I realized the barista taking orders punched in an Americano instead & b) the barista making drinks said they don't make mocha's with cream even after being told & acknowledging what my drink will be. Talk about embarrassing-the experience was a complete 180 as previously above. Even if the food looks great & the dining area is amazing, a café is only as good as the service provided & consistent drinks being made.
Was in town for Osheaga, & found this coffee shop conveniently located around the corner from our hotel. I love checking out new, cool cafes, & in that sense this spot hit the mark. However, the staff were not very welcoming. Perhaps it's different in Ontario, but usually one is greeted when entering, smiles all around, & just a warmth within the service. Barely a hello when approaching the counter, no smile at all, definitely no thank you. I still tip because I've been a Barista for over ten years, & understand the difference tips make to income. It's so EASY to be warm & welcoming...I couldn't help but think it was because I'm English speaking. I will say, the coffee is fantastic & unique, but consider adding a level up in the friendliness dept...greeting a customer when walking in the door goes a long way.
Ce café est magnifique, une décoration minimaliste & épuré,éloigné de la foule & du brouhaha de Berri. Seul bémol , le service déplorable! 4 employés pour faire le service, c'est certainement trop car on doit attendre que ces mesdames aient fini leur conversation pour pouvoir être servi & quand on est enfin servi, ce n'est pas la bonne commande 🫣
À deux pas de la gare, café lumineux & spacieux avec large choix de pâtisseries, viennoiseries & boissons originales. La chocolatine choco-noisette était à tomber, la meilleure goûtée jusqu'à présent, & nos deux boissons tout autant !

C'est un lieu confortable & avec du bon café ainsi qu'un style très agréable. Malheureusement, ils ont changé le réseau wifi & l'accès internet n'est plus comme avant. C'est la deuxième fois que je viens depuis ce changement, & j'ai du me fournir mon propre'hotspot' pour travailler. Pourtant je suis assis à la même place où j'ai été plusieurs fois avant.
J'ai découvert un superbe endroit lors de mon attente sur Montréal entre 2 transport amigo pour entrer chez moi. Je recherchais un endroit où siroter un café & passer le temps. Voyant l'affiche café je me suis décidé d'entrer. Agréablement accueilli & conseillé je me suis installé pour faire mes travaux scolaire & bien sur attendre mon transport. Matcha glacée avec sirop.de noisettes, pizza & viennoiserie la.classe pour être dans une atmosphère travail vacances. Belle oeuvre d'art affiché un peu partout. Il y a même eu une alerte incendie où nous avons été évacuer le personnel a sortie rapidement des chaises afin que nous puissions attendre l'inspection des pompiers qui sont arrivés rapidement sur les lieux. Une place où je prévois faire d'autres visites lors de mes prochaines venues sur Montréal.
I'm a big coffee lover & often visit different places. This café is one of the most beautiful & atmospheric in Montreal. If the weather outside is great & you don't feel like working from home, this café is the perfect choice. Delicious coffee, reasonable prices, & once again-the atmosphere.
Le café est juste DÉLICIEUX.
Nous avons bu un matcha latte avec sirop de lavande. Juste incroyable, c'est l'un des, si ce n'est le meilleur matcha que j'ai goûté de ma vie. Intense mais pas amer, très'fleuri'.
On a pris également un thé Chaï avec sirop de citrouille... Sublime également.
Avec ceci, une petite gourmandise sucrée. Un rouleau cannelle, très très bon !
Bref on s'est régalé.
L'atmosphère est superbe, & la dame qui nous a encaissé, conseillé & servi est super gentille & a vraiment l'envie de bien faire, ça se ressent & ça contribue un peu plus à l'atmosphère chaleureuse de l'endroit.
Je recommande ! Si vous cherchez un endroit pour se poser & savourer une très bonne boisson chaude, allez-y les yeux fermés !!

Svp plus d'options véganes & choisissez des laits végétaux canadiens ou québécois! Le lait barista de Oatbox ou Natura est excellent! 💯 :)
Le service & la qualité des grains utilisés sont tous les deux exceptionnels. J'ai dit au barista quel type de grain de café j'aime - fruité, vif, funky. Elle m'a proposé plusieurs choix de grains selon mes préférences & m'a préparé un superbe V60. J'ai également aimé l'espace minimaliste, les ouvres d'arts, & les viennoiseries.
