The barista didn't greet us & was rushing to be on her phone. No service. No attention. I ordered two Flat Whites, both were watery & cold. Easily the worst coffee I've ever paid for. This used to be one of the best coffee spots downtown…now it's a complete letdown. I guess I should have gone across the street with the rest of the crowd.
Starting the day with this beautiful & great coffee!
Thank you for putting a smile on my face! 💗
Only the best coffee in town don't bother going anywhere else & there's two locations on top of it
Fresh out of the oven, the scones are excellent-warm, flaky, & full of flavor. The coffee is pretty solid too, making it a nice spot for a quick pick-me-up.
My favorite place for an espresso on my way to work! Coffee is amazing here.
Whenever i go into the office downtown I'm looking forward to stopping at the humble lion. Good coffee, nice staff & great vibes every time over the years
Delicious latte & moderately sweet desserts but unfortunately the barista was not friendly. I will not go back there because of bad service. Btw the location of the coffee shop is good & the prices are reasonable. P.S.: I have no idea who the comment below is talking about. I've also been accused of something lol. Wow. Good luck, guys & have a good day!
The place is very cute with a nice ambiance but the pricey black coffee is one of the worsts I've have ever had.
This cute cafe in the heart of downtown Montreal has comfortable seating & a lovely window view to take your time to enjoy your coffee & snacks. The staff were super nice & efficient. There is a coffee menu with varied options. The cortado was excellent & velvety. I'm super curious about the maple latte so I'll be back for sure. Although I did some patrons working at the tables, the space is small & there were no visible outlets so it's really a place designed for sitting for 1 or 2 & enjoying the experience.
Today was the first time I visited this location. I came in with 10 adult students from all around the world to show them an example of a Montreal café. I indicated right away that we would be slow in ordering because I had to explain the menu options to the students. The young man at the cash was very rude. I attempted to ignore his attitude & thanked him for his patience & he responded, "I'm not patient." I asked him if he was trying to pick a fight because I was shocked by his behaviour. He said no, but continued to be short with me. The barista, on the other hand, was kind & the coffee was good. The place was almost empty when we arrived so I don't know what the problem was with our presence. Oh well.
Café Humble in Montreal is truly a gem in the city's vibrant culinary scene. From the moment you step in, you're greeted with a warm & inviting atmosphere that exudes a sense of community. The staff is attentive & knowledgeable, always ready with a recommendation or a friendly chat. The coffee? Simply sublime. Whether you're looking for a cozy spot to read & relax or a lively place to meet friends, Humble Cafe has got you covered. A must-visit when you're in Montreal!
Chill vibes guaranteed in this downtown spot. Pre & post pandemic favourite spot.
Great service: very professional & good energy from barista. Served a delicious & well prepared oat latté.
Perfectly balanced espresso: no surprise as they serve specialty coffee from Traffic Roasters. The espresso blend they serve on bar is Renaissance.
