This spot was on my'must-try coffee list of Montreal', & I think I've just unlocked a new craving, their iced sea salt earl grey matcha was to die for. Now I have to come back to try the rest of the menu because everything looked absolutely delicious.
The Vietnamese fusion drink concept is so unique & well-executed, the flavors blend perfectly. The café itself is quite small, so I recommend coming early if you want to grab a seat.
One of the highlights was definitely the staff, the baristas & owners were incredibly friendly & welcoming. The vibe inside was just amazing. You could tell this place has a loyal crowd; people were chatting with one another like regulars, & the whole atmosphere felt warm & inviting.

Here's my honest review. I had the sea salt earl grey matcha latte. It was a very sweet drink. Basically sugar & milk. The Matcha taste was lost in the sweetness. If you are looking for a matcha drink I can't recommend this. I would say the taste is more of an earl grey latte rather than earl grey matcha latte thats how lost the matcha taste was. Probably less syrup, & less water when whisking the matcha. Make a koicha so it is stronger, I want to still be able to taste the nuttiness or the astringency rather than sweetened milk.View more

I tried their'Matcha Cosé' (iced) & really enjoyed it! The creme top they add definitely takes a while to mix in to the drink & it makes it very sweet (so if you don't love a super sweet matcha, I would recommend trying something else), but I really enjoyed it! Visited around 3-4 PM & was able to get a seat at a table (there are a few tables at booths along with some standalone tables & window seats). Would love to come back & try some of their other specialty drinks in the future!View more

Lovely, bright, small cafe with lots of natural lighting. Great cold coffee drinks.... i don't always like cold coffee drinks because some espresso doesn't taste good cold, not so here. Nice toasts as well. Friendly service.View more

If I could give more stars, I would. Café Cosé has become a true Montreal staple for us - the warm & welcoming atmosphere is just the cherry on top of the amazing drink & food options. Well-run family businesses like this make all the difference in a neighbourhood, & I couldn't be happier to have a café like this so close by. Stumbled on this café on a walk. Super cute, good vibes, & really kind staff. They were patient & answered all of our questions. We got an iced latte & an iced matcha latte. They also had an assortment of baked goods, & specialty drinks available.View more
