I've been a loyal customer at Café Cosé for over a year, & I've always received excellent service, which is why today's experience was so surprising & disappointing.
Around 3 PM, the employee who served us was extremely unprofessional, not welcoming at all, & showed no basic courtesy. This is honestly the first time I've encountered such poor service at your café.
Unfortunately, this experience has left a bad impression, & it makes me hesitant to come back, which is really disappointing given how much I used to enjoy coming here.
Coffee is good & their cinnamon rolls is incredible, but the matcha was very disappointing. It was very diluted & you could only taste the syrup - I took 2 different matchas (15$) & both were tasteless in matcha but strong in syrup.
It tends to get crowded fast so don't expect to have a seated place every time you come.
I had the sweetest & most warm experience at Cafe Cose. We were visiting out of town, & really wanted to try this place. However, we arrived 5 minutes after closing. One of the employees, Joseph, could tell our excitement to try this place & so kindly offered to make our drink despite technically being closed.
In regards to the drink, it was quite literally the best banana matcha I've ever had. The matcha quality was fantastic! Definitely will be visiting again.

Really great matcha this is literally my fav matcha place in town!! Sea salt earl grey & the banana matcha are really the best ever!! I always come back for these two, cant wait to try the new flavors
best matcha in mtl!! their banana bread matcha is a must have & their staff is always so friendly & accommodating :) the breakfast sandwich is 10/10. nice atmosphere & cozy interior. definitely worth checking out if ur in the area

I loveee their iced banana matcha!! Their seasonal drinks are something to look forward to. Still dreaming about the carrot cake matcha they had a couple months ago😛 100% recommend
This coffee spot is super cute. I went there to taste their new red velvet latte & was not disappointed. The baristas are very nice, the place is super cozy & the food tastes wonderful. I totally recommend!!
