A trendy cafe that is worth the hype. Their banana matcha is such a perfect drink. It's sweet but not too sweet, very delicate, & tastes exactly like banana bread. The earl grey salted matcha is comforting & flavourful (can't taste the salt too much but that's ok).
Seating is quite limited so this is a grab & go place for sure. It's quickly become one of my favourites!
My go to is to get a matcha here & grab a sandwich from clarks to pair it with.
We ordered sea salt earl grey (6.50$+tax) & banana matcha (6.50$+tax). The banana matcha wasn't sweet enough & the sea salt earl grey was okay. It was a small cafe & the sitting spots were limited.
Cute & cozy spot ! They have a nice sweet selection & the seasonal drink Caramalized Banana Latte is INSANELY GOOD ! Can't get enough of it, a must try 😉
Good matcha. Their blueberry one wasn't my favourite, but their orange blossom is very very very good. The best flavoured matcha in the city in my opinion. Their earl grey sea salt is also an amazing matcha, however I noticed that the level of sweetness is not always the same when I go when it comes to the earl grey one. Nonetheless, it's yummy.
Here's my honest review. I had the sea salt earl grey matcha latte. It was a very sweet drink. Basically sugar & milk. The Matcha taste was lost in the sweetness. If you are looking for a matcha drink I can't recommend this. I would say the taste is more of an earl grey latte rather than earl grey matcha latte thats how lost the matcha taste was. Probably less syrup, & less water when whisking the matcha. Make a koicha so it is stronger, I want to still be able to taste the nuttiness or the astringency rather than sweetened milk.

We had a wonderful visit to Café Code! The avocado toast was fresh & perfectly seasoned, & the ricotta toast with strawberry jam was a delightful balance of creamy & sweet. Both dishes were beautifully presented & full of flavour. The flat white coffee was smooth, rich, & one of the best we've had in a while. The atmosphere was cozy & welcoming, with great service to match. Highly recommend for a relaxing & delicious café experience!

I tried their'Matcha Cosé' (iced) & really enjoyed it! The creme top they add definitely takes a while to mix in to the drink & it makes it very sweet (so if you don't love a super sweet matcha, I would recommend trying something else), but I really enjoyed it! Visited around 3-4 PM & was able to get a seat at a table (there are a few tables at booths along with some standalone tables & window seats). Would love to come back & try some of their other specialty drinks in the future!
So cozy, the coffee is really strong so will definitely satisfy your coffee cravings. Nice roasted flavour with the aftertaste. I wanted to try their matcha as I've heard great things about it & it was great! It is flavourful & naturally sweet (I always get it sugar free). It stands up as one of the best cafes in Montreal & easily compares to the most famous ones I've been to.
I like the area the most, it's very quiet & plenty of street parking. Customer service was great too & I overall loved the calm & quiet atmosphere. Light music was played too which was perfect.
I ordered the egg coffee which is my most favorite coffee back in Vietnam. The taste is similar to what i had. I asked for less sweet & it was perfect. The atmosphere is great. Light & cozy. The staff is very friendly as well. This place will be one of my always go to coffee forsure!

The cafe is very nice. Great vibes. I tried Vietnamese-style coffee. The egg coffee is nice, the egg custard on top goes together with the coffee, its quite sweet but together with black coffee is really good combination. The staff is really friendly. Will come back to try other menus.
Very small but cute cafe & their Vietnamese cafe is 👌 also got their ricotta toast & it was delicious. It was super busy but the staff is very friendly & sweet!
