So cozy, the coffee is really strong so will definitely satisfy your coffee cravings. Nice roasted flavour with the aftertaste. I wanted to try their matcha as I've heard great things about it & it was great! It is flavourful & naturally sweet. It stands up as one of the best cafes in Montreal & easily compares to the most famous ones I've been to.
I like the area the most, it's very quiet & plenty of street parking. Customer service was great too & I overall loved the calm & quiet atmosphere. Light music was played too which was perfect.
I went again & got a vanilla latte & earl gray latte & they were both too sweet, the syrup overpowered the coffee flavour. The banana bread latte was better & I would recommend if you want a sweet drink that still tastes like coffee, though it's not my personal taste but at least it was good.
I came here on a boiling humid day in Montreal, but got recommended this place by a friend.
As a Viet, this is more Viet meets Modernism but with a tasty twist! There are some Viet flavours on the menu like the Coffee with Condensed Milk, Coconut, & Bananas. I ordered mine for'to here' of an Iced Banana Matcha Latte with a Chocolatine for roughly $13 CAD with taxes. Prices are average like your other coffee shops in Montreal.
For the ambience, it's pretty cute, modern condo-style, & chic (beige, white, brown), but with limited seating spots. No plugs (I think or it's limited) but there is WiFi, you just have to ask for the guest password.
Service wise, it may be slow, so please be patient when ordering & waiting. When I came close to 19h, there was only one nice barista serving & ordering for everyone. He was nice! Luckily I didn't have to wait too long for my order (around 5 mins), but I'm sure on other days might be chaotic.
Flavour wise, the Iced Banana Matcha Latte is pretty good, not too sweet. I personally liked it as I was able to taste the Bananas. Chocolatine was $4 & flakey & less chocolate.
It's a cute spot, roughly 10-15 mins away from Charlevoix metro. I do recommend coming here with friends or want a quick refresher, but beware of the last g wait & crowd!
I stumbled upon Cafe Cose while walking through the neighborhood & was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere. It is the perfect spot if you need to get some work done or just want to sit with a book for an hour. The coffee is consistently strong & the staff seems to really care about the quality of every drink they prepare. I will definitely be making this a regular part of my weekly routine.
This is exactly the kind of neighborhood spot that we needed. It is not trying too hard to be trendy, it just focuses on serving good coffee & providing a comfortable space for people to gather. The prices are fair for the quality you receive & the staff is always welcoming when you walk through the door. It has quickly become my go to destination for a quick afternoon pick me up on my way home from work.
Café Cosé is very aesthetic, but the matcha was lacking flavor a little. The banana bread coffee is good
Incredible coffee, very crowded on weekends, best for quick take outs on a walk.
I love Cosé, fav spot for matcha so far, I went almost 10x but sometimes it's quite crowded so there's mixups & wait time, they are nice enough to re-do the drinks but waiting for the drink to be redone was a bit long 🥲. Sad my fav (the carrot cake matcha) isn't permanent, otherwise really good!
Coffee is not as good imo (since I tried the red velvet latte by mistake) the beans tasted slightly burned & it's just not my style but again I'm no coffee expert at all so who knows if it's a good or bad thing...
Defintly popular for a reason! There was only once where the matcha disappointed me but if you're there, they'll make adjustments no problem, I didn't feel like disturbing the staff so I left
Goddamn… best coffee in Montreal!
& don't even get me started on that grilled cheese 😫 the staff is also super sweet!!
Sometimes you want to go where everyone knows your name, & they're always glad you came. That's the type of atmosphere this place has. Great local coffee shop that's serves a great coffee & great matchas.
Believe the hype!
