Chez Téta emerges from reviews as a warm, welcoming Lebanese spot with a casual, lively vibe and a strong emphasis on house made bread, fresh ingredients, and generous hospitality. Diners rhapsodize about the manoucheh varieties, dips, fattoush, hummus, and wraps, plus standout beverages like cardamom latte and rose latte, with sfouf and pistachio rose cakes cited as memorable finishes. The food is frequently described as flavorful, authentic, and comforting, with many noting that the flavors remind them of home and that the portions are satisfying for the price. The ambiance is described as cozy and inviting, sometimes bustling, with a terrace in summer and a buzz that can make the place feel busy, yet staff are repeatedly praised for friendliness, attentiveness, and quick service on large orders. A few reservations appear about peak times, where wait times and occasional mix ups can occur, and one or two mentions of limited seating or noise. Overall the consensus is that Chez Téta delivers a remarkable Lebanese dining experience in Montreal, with reliable quality, memorable desserts, and a sense of being part of a family run neighborhood gem.
Ordered with delivery, was missing items for sure, & driver was a half hour late due to construction detours apparently. Food not as elegant as shown. Wanted to specify toppings on the side for specific sandwiches but not an option in the delivery system menu. Food was good, but more effort is needed to be worth these prices.
Amazing place! The staff & owner are so incredibly kind they make you feel like you're stepping into their family home for dinner. The food was delicious. Thank you for such a memorable evening!
We were craving a good Lebanese breakfast, & Café Chez Téta did not disappoint us! We had the lahm baajin, cheese kafta, & the egg with cheese man'oushe - all fresh, flavorful, & perfectly satisfying. The staff were incredibly friendly & helpful, which made the experience even better. It's definitely a spot we'll come back to!

Had breakfast there twice, each time different manoucheh: one with egg, bacon & tomato, one halloumi & pesto. Excellent cardamom latte. The staff were the best. Seems family run. Everyone so pleasant & helpful.
Love this place. It's a piece of home when I feel homesick & craving a man'oushe. The owners are super nice & service is great. We usually get the half half & the keshek. The rose latte is the best latte I've ever had.
Mélodie was so hospitable & made us feel at home! We were a large group & she kept coming to check in on us. The food was absolutely fantastic - took me back to my trip to Lebanon! We came here for our wedding brunch & it was the best choice ever! If you want a taste of Lebanon you have to go to Chez Téta!
