Good coffee, tried their lebanese cardamom style coffee & it hit the spot but their zaataar manouche was the cherry on top & not too expensive!View more
From the tasty manouche with fattoush & the spiced lattes, to the welcoming service, this brunch is a sure recommendation.View more
Café Chez Teta is always an amazing experience! The food is delicious & the service is incredible by Melodie, Sabrina & her team! 😊 We recently went with our team of 15 & it was wonderful - we left so full & with deliciousness in our hands! Their salads, dips, manouchés & desserts were delicious! I highly recommend 🥰 You won't regret stopping by, a Lebanese restaurant filled love.View more
My favorite manouche ever!! I have tried almost everything on the menu! If you are lebanese & home sick it is the place to go!View more
Accueillants, propres, rapides, chaleureux, délicieux. bref on recommande fortement !View more
Soooooo delicious. Don't skip on their aioli manouche, it's the best.View more
5 stars all around! One of the best quality & tasteful manouche we have had inside & outside Lebanon! Thank you for the great food, beautiful atmosphere.View more
J'adore!! Je recommande!❤️View more
As a Palestinian who lived in almost all the middle eastern countries, I eat & cooked most of the Middle eastern food. I was excited to eat at Chez Téta, I went there with my wife, we looked at their menu(very small) specialized mainly in Manoiches & not presenting even one tiny bet of the Middle Eastern food. It's a small cafe with almost self-service approach. You order at the counter, you pay before you eat, you serve your self with water, but they bring you the food to the table. The place is cute & simple but has no middle eastern touch on it. Food: this was a very big disappointment for me. We ordered 2 manouche with the dip add-on. The dough of the manouche was very thin & rolled like a wrap. It felt like it was a thin crust rolled pizza. The flavor was there especially the cheese & tomato. The meat one was very lemony & lacks spices. The dips that we ordered were: hummus which came very thin (like a bet liquid) with no olive oil on it which will never happen back home. The baba Ghannoij lakes almost everything, especially the olive oil. & the Mohammara was very thin & not spicy as it should be. I am sure that Téta would have love at least to have olive oil on these dips for sure. Additionally, the bread that came with the dips was the same thin dough that they use for the manoiche. It was not the Pita bread that everyone knows & love. I don't know what is the moto or the targeted audience for the place. I am a visitor in Montreal & I was looking forward to eat an authentic Middle eastern food. But I am still looking ! Good luckView more
Nourriture savoureuse! View more
I stop here about two to three times a week for a coffee & Manouche. Absolutely delicious. My all time favourite cafe in Montreal. The desserts are wonderful as well. Excellent & friendly service too. Always a lovely time. Lunch time is super busy so I'd go early in the morning or later in the day. I LOVE CHEZ TETA!View more
If you want a cozy vibe along with some good coffee, I would definitely recommend! The Turkish coffee is strong but good. The manouche are fresh & bright. There was a wait to dine in, but totally worth it. The space is super well decorated & it screams warm & cozy. I would recommend the zatar manouche filled with all the vegetables to offer. Accompany it with labneh & you got yourself a beautiful breakfast! I definitely will be coming back!View more
View more
Cutest little spot at a great location. Super cute place to grab a brunch & either sit in or takeout. I find the vibe kinda loud/busy/slightly chaotic but in the best way - it really does make you feel like you're cozy at your teta's on a sunday. The manouche is delicious, one of the best in Montreal for sure! & the service is great, everyone is super kind. A must try on the plateauView more
Mon café préf à Montréal. Vraiment authentique.
Absolutely recommend the chicken/cheese manouché, it's very similar to a shawarma but unique enough to be worth the trip ! Definitly try the rose & pistachio cake 🩷. The only items that dissapointed me a little were the halva & cardamom lattes which were good but both lacked their respective tastes, but this is still definitely a cafe you should come try ❤️!View more
Chaque bouchée me transportait au Liban. The staff is friendly & very kind. The manouché is delicious so is the fattoush. My highlight is the cardamom latte, perfectly balanced.View more
Excellent Lebanese cafe... great atmosphere for eating in, although I usually get a bunch of dips & manouche to take home. Friendly staff & really nice coffees, some with a Lebanese twist: cardamom lattes & coffee, halvah lattes, etc. Reliably good & reliably packed, but it usually doesn't take too long to be served.View more
